Horrific and preventable death of a beautiful baby girl. Her parents are stupid and negligent.

This makes me so angry. Totally preventable. 4 dogs with 3 malnourished. I really hope someone beats them in jail.

Mom to cops, "My daughter got ate by the pit."
Father to investigators, "I just have a feeling my gut's telling me I'm going to jail."

Your baby girl was attacked by this dog 2 weeks earlier. And for some reason you felt it was ok to lock her in a room with this dog? I have a feeling that they blamed her for the 1st attack and likely this one as well.

She was such a beautiful baby who deserved to be loved and properly cared for and protected.

According to the affidavits filed in court by detectives with the Oklahoma City Police Department, the child was left overnight in a locked room with a black pit bull named Ella—a dog both parents admitted had previously attacked her.

IMO, both of these parents are serial child neglecters and drug addicts. The pictures on her page of him- he looks sick or addicted. I wonder if he was in any treatment or actively using when Locklynn was killed.

Charges were upgraded to first degree murder as they should be. They used the dog as a weapon. A dog that previously attacked her. This was intentional. And the experience she had wasn’t short or easy

And given the extent of her fatal injuries this time around, how in the world did these parents not HEAR this prolonged and brutal attack???? I suspect they may not even have been at home. They may have "kenneled" both the vicious dog and toddler in the same locked room and left them in there unsupervised.

At this moment I’m sitting beside my two year old granddaughter, whom I treasure. I can’t imagine the cruelty that Locklynn was subjected to. It breaks my heart, and enrages me. WTH is wrong with people?

2-year-old OKC girl mauled to death by family dog, DHS responds

DHS is responding after a 2-year-old Oklahoma City girl was killed by her family's dog. Authorities said this was not the first time the dog attacked the child.

Their 911 call said the dog ate her. The dog was put in that room because it would “go in for the kill” with the other dogs. This dog and a couple of the others were starved and malnourished.

They have another child that died but I can’t find details

So their answer, in order to protect their other emaciated dogs, was to lock the vicious one in with their toddler it had already disfigured less than two weeks prior? FFS, its people like this I resent breathing the same air as us.
