Lincoln County Teen Found Starving, Parents And Siblings Arreste - NewsOn6.com

A 15-year-old boy was found nearly starved to death on his family's property near Meeker. Court filings revealed the child weighed less than 80 pounds.

Investigators say he was forced to live in a barn next to the family home, and on July 12 they found he had a head wound that his father super-glued shut.

“At one point, he had not received any medical attention for them because his parents claimed that doctors were expensive. So, they hadn't taken him to a doctor. So at one point, his dad had picked maggots out of the wounds, and super-glued them shut,” said Assistant District Attorney Adam Panter.

The teen was taken to OU Children’s Hospital, where doctors found he had a stomach full of twigs, leaves and grass. He also suffered broken bones sometime within the past couple of years. Those weren’t his only injures.

“At one point, he says he was shot by his father with a 12-gauge, with birdshot,” said Panter. “Doctors stated that he was likely going to die within a week if he had not been found.”

His father, 34-year-old Jimmy Jones Sr., has been arrested on child abuse and neglect complaints. Investigators confirm Jones Sr. worked as a correctional officer at a private prison in Cushing.

The boy’s step-mother, Amy Jones, and two step-brothers, Johnathan Plank and Tyler Adkins, were also arrested on complaints on child abuse. They failed to report any actions taken at the home. The Lincoln County ADA added there was plenty of food in the home.

The last article linked says a passerby alerted authorities. Thank God he or she got involved and saved this child's life!! If you see something, say something!

What the hell did I just read ?
Can't call these four animals --- as it would be an insult to animals......
Please let this boy never have to live or be around any of these vile monsters ever again.
It sounds like he'd been kept imprisoned for at least two years...... I am sure he did nothing to warrant such abuse !!

The boys father is a prison guard.

I hope that gets passed around the jail.
That’s all I will say about that. Jmo
I was hospitalized when I weighed 95lbs I’m 5’3. I can’t imagine how sickly he must be.

Apparently there's a sister... no one seems to know where she is ? The bio-donor "dad" says she went into the foster care system after 2011 ?
Also found some pics (only 2) of this teen and one of them reminds me of a pic of Lucas Hernandez. :(
No visible injuries (the photo is from a distance); but he's wearing heavy clothing , while the bio-donor is dressed in a light T-shirt and shorts.

And to further piss me off, backyard horse breeders! Breeding crap horses! Ugh ugh ugh! Abuse your flesh and blood to the point of almost death, yet you haven't missed any meals! And thinking you're going to be rich breeding crappy horses. Not enough sense to realize that horses of high quality ARE selling! But you're gotta be able to afford the mare and stallion... AND, the horse market is so overrun with crappy horses that you can hardly give a horse away now.

Sorry...just pisses me off when people thinking breeding animals is going to make them money.

Wouldn't you think they would have given the son up at the same time, we can only wonder why.

Hopefully he gets sent to the same prison as a prisoner. It would certainly save taxpayers a lot of money.
