We felt it (the latest one) here in NW Arkansas. Made the house move to and fro. I've felt a few tremors since then as well. My cat is fussing at me to go to bed. I think NOT!!!! (But...if I had someone to have sex with, I'd have sex so I could say, "Yes, Dear, you made the earth move"). And no, I did not just say that!

Felt some good strong shaking here in south central KS....strong enough that there was no question what was causing it at the time. i opened the door to see if it was going to start setting off car alarms, but didn't hear any.

Guess I should have been thinking about safety more than car alarms!

My teen son was at a friends house and they didn't notice, he is soooo disappointed to have missed out on it!

Prayers & hugs for all our (((WS members))) and (((WS guests))) that felt the quake.
I'm hoping you are all safe and without much, if any, damage to your homes & surrounding areas.

Oklahoma quake buckles highway, damages several homes

No serious injuries had been reported as of midnight after the 5.6 magnitude earthquake near Oklahoma City, but a major highway buckled in three places, at least three homes sustained major damage and others had roof and chimney damage, officials said.

U.S. Highway 62, which crosses Lincoln County, buckled west of Prague, Okla., according to Aaron Bennett, a dispatcher with Lincoln County 911 and emergency management.

Sort of OT but not really:

IIRC I read about OK having a lot of seismic activity in the book A crack in the edge of the world by S. Winchester. I do have that book somewhere but I think that's the one. Good book if anyone wants to read it. I highly recommend it. Until then I had no clue that OK and other regions of the US have a lot of seismic activity.

I'm glad no reports of injuries or deaths. I feel them here but you have to be laying very still and it has to be in the middle of the night before you can even notice it. They definately wouldn't wake you up or you wouldn't notice if you were walking around the house.

That report map is pretty widespread huh? Wow.

I don't think folks in OK knew they had a lot of seismic activity either!!!

I hope everyone is okay! You know we're used to these quakes out in California, but I bet you folks are not! Now is probably a good idea to make a family plan -- since many earthquakes happen when loved ones are not all together. And to also think about earthquake preparedness.

Take a look around your house and see if you have any wall hangings that could topple over. In California we bolt everything down :)

Go to your local dollar store and stock up on batteries, flashlights, bottled water and other necesseties. Have plenty of medicine's and pet food on hand.

Ya know, all those wonderful things you normally wouldn't have to think about :(

Stay safe ya'll.
