Wednesday, January 21st:
*Scheduling Hearing (@ am CT) - OK – Athena Alexandria Brownfield (4) - Athena & her sister (5) were left alone on Friday, Jan. 6, 2023 but Athena was first reported missing on Jan. 10, 2023 after her sister was found walking alone near the town of Cyril by a postal worker & he contacted LE. (Athena was found on Jan. 17, 2023 in Rush Springs, Grady County property in a backpack; LE found out that she had been beaten & died on Dec. 25, 2022 from Alysia’s interrogation; Id’d on Jan. 26, 2023) - *Alysia Adina Adams aka Alysia Adina Galvan (31/now 34) arrested (1/12/23), charged (1/17/23) & arraigned (3/13/24) with 2 counts of child neglect – one for failing to supervise Athena's sister & another for failing to protect Athena from her husband’s physical abuse. Charges were amended (1/12/23) & arraigned (3/13/24) with 1st degree murder, obstruction of a public officer & 2 counts of child neglect. Plead not guilty. Bond @ $500K with restrictions if bonded out. DP will seek DP (2/14/24). Caddo County
Trial was set to begin on 11/17/25 was vacated.
Judge Kory Kirkland presiding. Prosecutor Jason Hicks. Adams’ attorney Albert J. Hoch, Jr. [has new attorney as of 10/15/25]

10/15/25 Update: Adams was in court with a new legal team. Trial has been delayed. Next scheduling conference on 1/21/26. Adams reject a plea deal, possible death penalty is still on the table.Her trial is set to begin on 11/17/25.
*Jasmin Adina Kay Brownfield aka Karma Adina Kay Tucker (27/now 30) – Felony Disposition hearing on 2/11/26.
*Ivon Neil Adams III (36/now 39) – Arraignment hearing on 2/20/26.
