As it was an unexplained death, there would have been an autopsy. The results may be what caused them to lose their parental rights.

Seriously? The parents are asking for $$. Yeah, I want to give my hard-earned money to a couple of druggies who are on the run from the law. The page said the couple have 5 other children besides the deceased baby yet msm only mentions three other siblings to Bracie. Where's the fifth child?

Investigators say the couple is known to abuse heavy drugs and the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office says they found evidence of child endangerment. A judge recently terminated their parental rights to Bracie

Tara Springfield and Bryant Schivers Jr., both 37, are accused of taking their daughter Bracie just before sheriff's deputies arrived at the home to take the child away from them. Springfield and Schivers were supposed to hand Bracie over to authorities Friday at an address associated with Springfield, but authorities believe the suspects had no intention of actually doing it.

A Cleveland County judge stripped Springfield and Schivers of their parental rights after the discovery of evidence of child endangerment, according to authorities.

An*arrest warrant*on the charge of kidnapping has been issued for Bryant Schivers Jr. No charges against Springfield are pending, Cleveland County Undersheriff Rhett Burnett said.

The suspects are believed to be homeless and were living in a vehicle, Burnett said.

I came across an obituary of a lady from Norman Oklahoma that had a son Bryant schivers who at one point lived in Gulfport, Ms with wife Michelle and 3 children... Maybe that's where the additional kids on the page were referring to! Family has ties to Massachusetts if it's same guy

Mike Iser lives on a rural stretch of road and says the couple were his former neighbors.

"I never had too many encounters with them except the deal over the horse one time. And she pulled a gun on me, so I guess they weren't very good neighbors," said Iser.

"I`ve seen their kids more than them and I heard they were into their drugs and everything."

Authorities also believe three other children are with Springfield and Schivers: Bryant Schrivers Jr., Bailey Schivers and Braddock Schivers.

Authorities are searching for a white Chevy pickup with an Oklahoma plate: BQQ-657.

Prayers for these children. One thing that comforts me is that these children appear clean and we'll nourished. Mother seems to really love her children so there is hope. Drug addiction is terrible. It is all consuming, especially when your partner has the same addictions. Baby Bella's death could in all fairness be attributed to her health problems. But could her health problems have been due to mom's addictions?

The fact that they ran WITH their children and not left them behind speaks to me that there is hope buried deep down inside at least for mom. I hope they are caught and put in programs to get healthy. I know that my opinion is not popular, normally I'm name calling as well. It's just time to come up with a new game plan to fight this epidemic. Also, if these people were known druggies, how did the baby leave the hospital with them??

Broke all the way around. Beautiful kids. My heart hurts.

Well said... There are glimpses of brokenness and hope in some of the Facebook posts. She truly loves her children but is caught in the web of drugs.

I really hope these children are found safe.
There are times when addiction takes hold on your life and other times when you are able to function. Either way it's not a lifestyle to raise kids.

On Tara's FB, she indicated they had been together for twenty years.

Of course, one person's idea of being together could mean different things. To have been together for twenty years and their oldest child is only 12, makes me go hmmm. Also, what is her name, Harmon, Springfield, or Schivers?

NORMAN, Oklahoma - The Cleveland County Sheriff's Office have canceled an Amber Alert after 1-year-old Bracie Schivers was found in safe condition with Bryant Schivers, Jr. and Tara Springfield in Converse, Texas.

Authorities said they believed three other children, 12-year-old Bryant Jr., 9-year-old Bailey, and 8-year-old Braddock, were also with the couple. They too have been recovered safely.

Will the police accept this "died in her sleep". Why was an autopsy not conducted?

With the parents being druggies, it would seem like LE would require the autopsy. IMO.

I just finished reading Tara's FB and the only thing mentioned when the baby was born was she had an irregular heartbeat. She was placed in NICU for observation.

Baby was out of NICU and then mother and baby got to go home together. Tara writes that the doctor said 1 out of ?? babies are born with this and it normally adjusts itself. (I don't recall the number).

Just MO, but the infant that passed was probably initially classified as some sort of asphyxiated due to the positioning of the car seat and the neck. It is not uncommon for infants to pass away in this manner if they are at this angle for too long a time.

But then they may have gotten a toxicology report back after the autopsy that showed more than trace amounts drugs - I'm assuming not marijuana as that's legal and could be potentially second hand smoke. Frowned upon, but I'm not sure would rise the level of Amber Alert.

Thank heavens the parents have been stopped! However, he will be arrested and back on the street in no time.

What about this mom with her drug habits and the other children around her? This really concerns me.

If they truly wer e homeless and living out of a car, that is a perfect reason for CPS to take the other children. Hope we he's are more on this case. Happy Bracie is safe!

According to moms Facebook posted 7/25 at 4:18am, photos of 4 older kids sleeping in one bed captioned 'played too hard in the desert! 25 indoor roller coasters and 50 foot waterslide'

This is the same day baby Bella died.

Posts and photos prior to this one show them buying pot from the pot shops in Las Vegas.

I believe these are some of the reasons for losing parental rights. moo

I think that means the news reporter was lazy and just edited a story that originally said they believed the other 3 children were with them. That first sentence is word-for-word what the stories said before they were found. The news just added "They too have been recovered safely" to the already existing story. JMO.

So agree. That precious baby. I hope mom has a support system she can fall back on, as she will need it. I feared the worst and feel this is a second chance. Please, mom, do the next right thing. And then do it again. And again. It can get better.
