OK OK - Bruce Jacobs, 52, Edmond, 16 Jun 2020

ITA with your suspicion! I believe he met with foul play. JMO, but I don't think Bruce overdosed or was anywhere near a wagon, not his own wagon for sure. ;)

These remains were found about 30-40 away from where Bruce's truck was found abandoned. My gut tells me these are likely not Bruce's remains. Aubrey Dameron went missing from this area back in 2019. Still, my prayers are going up for Bruce's family and loved ones.

Snipping Bruce's sister's quote from an old article.
Group Organizes Large Scale Search For Missing Edmond Man
"He's the most wonderful person I've ever met," D. said. "He's our Batman. He beams a light on us and we need him to beam his light."

The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

Beam your light, Bruce.

I wish the detectives would do a bit more digging into Bruce's case. Someone knows what happened to him. I refuse to believe he simply walked away from everything he owned, especially if he was supposedly falling off of a wagon. He left behind too much stuff that he could/would have sold for a fix if he needed one. I'm far from a detective, but that right there tells me he didn't leave willingly.;) Bruce's loved ones deserve to know the truth of what happened to him. Find Bruce, Edmonds PD. R.D. wants her brother back!

Re his sister, I was just about to ask a question that probably would have been poofed by the Mods when I noticed super sleuth YaYa is already handling it correctly lol. You are much appreciated and a good teacher here YaYa!

Bruce's sister appears to have finally had enough with sitting around waiting for answers. Her comments (many w/ screenshots) have been quite interesting recently. I hope people start talking.

Good for his sister! She deserves answers to where her brother is!
This has been a frustrating case for sure...a lot of unknowns.

If he regularly drove the train tracks, I find it hard to believe that he'd get his truck stuck. I can, on the other hand, see someone getting it stuck on the tracks purposely. What I'm trying to say is that someone staged that truck. (IMO)
I think someone was driving the truck to get rid of it and accidentally got it stuck.

One year ago today Bruce left his camp site at Lake Arcadia. His truck was recovered later that morning on the railroad tracks in Choctaw, OK. Bruce has never been seen again. Over the course of this past year, his family and friends, most especially his sister, R.D., along with OKCM Search & Rescue Team have held searches, spoken with locals in the Edmond and Choctaw areas of Oklahoma, and have publicized his case using various forms of SM. They still have no more answers than they did immediately after Bruce's disappearance.

As recently as a few days ago someone from Edmond mentioned to me that she had never heard of Bruce's case. Perhaps therein lies the problem; we need to get the word out until it hits the right sets of eyes and ears. Someone knows something! Please share Bruce's story. Call Edmond, OK Police at (405) 359-4338 with any information you have concerning Bruce's last known activities and any associates who were with him. Click the photo below to visit Bruce's family's FB group dedicated to bringing him home.

Thinking of Bruce tonight. :( I still can't bring myself to believe that he simply abandoned his truck on the RR tracks and walked away from his life. o_O I sure wish law enforcement would do a little more investigating. There are answers out there. IMO, someone just needs to start asking questions of the right people.

Does anyone have any practical tips, besides sharing LE's FB post, on how to best go about convincing/encouraging/pressuring LE to take Bruce's case more seriously than they have during the last 13 months? His family needs answers. More importantly, if someone(s) harmed him, they need to be held accountable for their actions. MOO

Bruce Wayne "Batman" Jacobs went missing on June 16, 2020, according to the timeline.

His girlfriend reported to Edmond police the pipeline worker had left their camper at Arcadia Lake about 8:15 a.m. His pickup was found the same morning on railroad tracks near Choctaw.

An investigative summary says his disappearance has a lot of similarities to the others. He was 52.

His sister, Rachel DiFatta, of Mississippi, is offering a $10,000 reward for information.

"They told me that it's possible he is one of them and he may not ever be identified," she told The Oklahoman in tears.

"My brother was an addict," she also said. "Unfortunately, we know that people, places and things can put you in danger when you do things like that."

Details of Disappearance

Jacobs was last seen in Edmond, Oklahoma on June 16, 2020. He left his trailer at a Lake Arcadia campsite at 8:15 a.m. and has never been heard from again. At 10:00 a.m. that same day, his red Ford pickup truck was found abandoned on the railroad tracks in Choctaw, Oklahoma.

Police believe that Jacobs met with foul play. A two-and-a-half-acre Logan County, Oklahoma compound, known as the "bully farm", has been linked to multiple missing persons cases, including those of Daniel Lusk, Cindy Mulligan, David Orr, Phillip Smith, Frederick Mitchell, and possibly Travis Baker's and Jacobs's as well, though this hasn't been confirmed.

Bone fragments were found at three sites: the bully farm, a second site half a mile away, and an oil field lease road near Luther, Oklahoma. Investigators are trying to identify them.
