So glad they found the mother of this boy!
My son turned 3 in July. His whole life he has been mistaken to be atleast one year older than he really is. People now think he is 4 or 5 years old. His height and weight and whole physical development has always been in the 90th percentile.
Along with that, he has severe speech & learning delays. He currently has the speech of an 18 mnth - 2 yr old. It's only been in the last few weeks, at 38 months old, that he knows his name. He still only knows his first name.
That said, it's a perfect example of why it's too hard to speculate on age based on a child's looks and their speech and how they act in a situation. Toddlers run the range from overdeveloped to underdeveloped.
Curious how the rest of this turns out. I am just glad this little boy is safe.
