Since SHC on FB is verified as family I will post this.
For those compiling the timeline:
It has been shown that Daryn left Job Corps 5/25 at precisely 9:37pm.

Are there any msm articles about Daryn from Oklahoma? Have I overlooked them??

Thank You! Do you know if he left by himself or did he have a passenger in the car at that time?
(meaning did he pick up someone who was exiting Job Corp as well)

It does not say if he was alone or not.
NOTE: Typo on date I posted. It is corrected now. It was 5/26

If that video footage would have shown someone else with him in the car when he left I'm sure that would have been mentioned by now.

No, unfortunately you have not overlooked them. Apparently since he is a grown man who could choose to just walk away and because they were so swamped with other news surrounding the storms, Daryn just isn't news worthy at this time. I contacted OK MSM myself to no avail. Family members have too. They have also been told that without the police report they won't run the story, and the police report is not being released. It's a total flustercuck.

Those people are id'ed under the pic as
OKRF Fairies of the Hidden Glen

and if you look at the pics on their fb page, you can see that that guy seems to have too much hair on the crown of his head to by Daryn.

OK. I'll keep looking later on.

Only the official facebook can be linked up here. A mod needs to review and approved the facebook, first - so please submit links to a Mod for review and approval. Also any background regarding the facebook, so the review will go smoother.

Once a facebook is approved, it may be linked to - but the comments/discussion on facebook may not be posted here, nor may it be considered as fact. An individual poster may believe it as fact, that's fine. But for it to be considered fact at WS it needs to come from MSM or LE.

If you have questions or concerns, please notify a mod.

Last call for MSM! It's about exactly two weeks to the minute since DRC was last known to have been seen and, barring something on one of the ten o'clock news shows tonight, it doesn't look like we here in OK will be seeing anything. Hoping OR will have some more good stuff tomorrow and in days to come.

A possibility regarding the cat, sad as it is, is that the cat was dropped off by Daryn at a no-kill shelter or given to someone. Either of those two possibilities could explain why no one has come forward: They are virtual strangers or don't even know that it is Daryn's (a MP) cat.

The car wasn't COMPLETELY cleaned out, right? I mean there was the sleeping bag, the suit, the passport, the laptop...so it doesn't sound to me as if it was CLEANED out in the bad sense of the word (by a criminal). It sounds more like what the fiancee said: it was a newer car and he was in the "I am going to keep it clean this time" phase. Just a possibility.

Going back over old posts. This one prompted me to try and work through all our possible scenarios with regard to where the car was found/who put it there/why they put or left it there, so please help me compile the list and build on the pros and cons for each possibility:

If the person that put the car there was not Daryn, he would take only the stuff that he could easily and quickly stash on his person without drawing attention to himself if he had to leave on foot?

If the person that put the car there was not Daryn, he could have chosen this (or a point nearby) as a meet-up point with an accomplice (for lack of a better word), keeping warm by running the engine until it went through every bit of gas. He then might possibly have used the sleeping bag that was in the car to keep warm from that point; and the condition of how the sleeping bag was found in the car (rolled up neatly, scrunched up, spread out) might support or negate this scenario.

And if the person that put the car there was Daryn and it was his intention to meet up with someone at that place to go off and start a new life, why would he leave the laptop and suitcase in the car?

And LE indicates they do not believe Daryn went off in the trails, as indicated by no footprints; but we still don't know for sure if there were footprints around the car, because LE didn't really specify yes or no...was this the last we'd heard on this? I think so, but I am not relying on memory at this point. So....was the car on dirt or pavement and if on dirt, there had to be footprints of some sort?

And since the car was out of gas...totally out of gas was emphasized IIRC...Daryn could have started walking to get gas. But then why take the tag off and move car back up off road like that? And why would he not have collected the car by the time it was determined that the car was abandoned?

What else, folks?

There are so many possibilities here- I can think of some more but I think you covered the more likely ones and I am loathe to start adding more unnecessarily.

On another topic, after looking at the map, I feel like the driver would have to go through Denver, Salt lake City and Boise. Sure, there are other ways to go, but that way seems most logical if the intended destination was always Mt. Hood area. If the driver was just driving as far as he could go, I don't think they would have chosen to stop there at the trailhead since it is kind of far to walk anywhere. I think most people would choose on the outskirts of a city or town- at a park or something. If they parked at the trailhead, I think they must have called someone to meet them there. JMO

Are there any toll roads that may have been used? I am sure they would have been avoided by Daryn or anyone else, but just an idea to throw out there. Grasping at straws I know.

Good idea. I started thinking about a list.. and actually had to grab paper. You covered most, but the more I thought the more rambling it became. Pros and cons to each scenario, and so many of them would fit either one. My list literally became rambling thoughts and questions.

I hope to gawd he left to just get away, but my rambling thoughts make me doubt this is the case.

WHY was his car found there? Just a general question I wish I had the answer to.

Lots of help, huh... Lol

It just occurred to me that it is illegal to pump your own gas in Oregon. There are no self-service pumps, so if gas was bought for the car in that state, there would have to be a witness.

There might not have been a good way to avoid the couple of toll roads on the way to Oregon, if the fastest route was taken. Because of the Rockies, just about any other route would be insane.
From the Oklahoma border to Wichita, KS, is a toll road. The Denver bypass (E 470) is a toll road, as is the express lane on the highway (I-25) you'd take to avoid the bypass in Denver .

Really?? Thanks. I did not know that it is illegal to pump your own gas in any state. Learn something new at WS everyday.
