I just want to come back and add what will hopefully be the last note on this case. I have since been in touch with someone much closer to the case, and has let a few facts slip.
First of all, I now know who CodenameFarm is, yes, Cody Farmer, her son.
As my source noted"
"She had "disappeared" other times before the baby sitter incident mentioned in the story. In fact, that wasn't even the last time that she was seen. She came back after that.
The last time that any of her family had contact with her, she left the boys at a Holiday Inn with a note pinned to one of them with phone numbers to call to have them picked up."
The source ended with:
"She abandoned her family. That's probably why there isn't a lot of information about her as a missing person. She was known to be running with some bad people so something could have happened to her. Or, she could still be hiding out there somewhere. Either way, it sounds like she hurt a lot of people. And it seems like no one who knew her cares to know what happened to her. They (The family) aren't thrilled to have those memories dragged up again. Especially, the speculation and inaccurate information."
I became aware of this information back in January of 2025. Frankly, I have been collecting my thoughts on the matter since then.
I certainly did not intend to cause her children any more pain regarding the issue, but given that the OSBI was apparently aware of this information for some time and never bothered to mention those facts in their public appeals for information, it is disheartening, and it pisses me off to no end. It seems someone starts to ask questions and then it falls on the public to reveal facts that the OSBI should have spilled years go, but didn't.
It is probably worth nothing that if Ms. Farmer were alive today, she would be 70 years old.
Lastly, the name associated with the incident and that Ms. Farmer was running around with was Charles Lamb. (Not the former Edmond mayor) I have no more information and will not contribute to this thread any more.
