Police arrested a suspect on a murder complaint after a woman looking for her missing cat found human remains in the backyard of a Tulsa home.
The Tulsa Police Department identified the suspect as Devin Scrivner. He was arrested on a complaint of first-degree murder.

"The only thing I can figure is they did not do a full investigation after to look for any signs of anybody or anything and now that it's been 5 months after this and they're finally finding a body in there, I think that it's really messed up," said the 16-year-old. Just clarifying that this guy is being charged with a murder committed in September, 2022 upon the cat-searcher / bone-finder discovering remains in a burnt-out shed in his yard.
Police said a neighbor was at the home looking for her missing cat, and the homeowner let her into the backyard. The woman found the remains in an area where a shed burned down in September, according to police.
Authorities identified a suspect through an investigation and took him into custody after police said they found him hiding under a bed in west Tulsa.
