Norman toddler missing, believed to be in danger, deputies say
A 2-year-old Norman girl, Echo Belvin, is missing and believed to be endangered, deputies said Friday night.
On June 11, family members visiting Belvin's biological parents found drug contraband strewn throughout the home.
When the parents, 27-year-old Kaleb Belvin and 23-year-old Victoria Reber, were confronted, they took Belvin and fled the residence by vehicle, the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office said. As they were leaving, the driver sideswiped a car parked in the driveway.
Deputies said attempts by the family, DHS and the police to find the parents have been unsuccessful.
Deputies said they may be staying in a motel in the Oklahoma City metro area.
The parents are said to be operating a 2005, silver Chevrolet Uplander (van) with Oklahoma tag ITB380. Because of the alleged drug abuse and behavior of the parents after being confronted, it's believed that Belvin's safety is in question.
