Authorities issued the advisory due to concerns for the safety of both the mother and child. According to investigators, Zimmerman has made suicidal statements and has a documented history of bipolar disorder, personality disorder and depression.

Anyone who sees Zimmerman, the infant, or the described vehicle is urged to call 9-1-1 immediately.

Officials stress that the public should not attempt to make contact directly but should notify law enforcement as soon as possible.
