KASEY ALERT: Broken Arrow police searching for Green Country man

Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the Broken Arrow Police Department have issued a Kasey Alert for 47-year-old Eugene Kozuk.

Kozuk was last seen at Indianwood Avenue and Little Rock Street in Broken Arrow on May 24.

He was last seen wearing a blue short-sleeved shirt, black pants and no shoes.

Kozuk is diagnosed with Schizophrenia and does not regularly take medication.

Family of missing Broken Arrow man asking for community's help

The family said Eugene Kozuk, also known as Gino, was staying at his mom’s house at the time of his disappearance more than a week ago and was caught on camera leaving the house around 4 a.m.

Since Eugene Kozuk walked away from his mother’s home in the middle of the night 12 days ago, family and friends have lurched between hopeful resolve and, increasingly, dealing with despair.

TULSA, Okla. — Eugene Kozuk's mother, Barbara Donnelly, says she is still hanging onto hope after her son went missing on May 24.

"I loved him so much. I still love him so much. You know after five weeks and two days, I don't think with his medical problems he is still with us but I will take him any way, any way that God gives him back to me," said Donnelly.

"He was in the gifted program and everything, excelled in school, was in the band and played baseball," said Donnelly.

She says when Eugene was in his late teens, he suffered from a traumatic brain injury but his spirit and zest for life never wavered.

Sadly, Mr. Kozuk’s remains have been found. No foul play is suspected.

Kozuk's remains were found in a creek bed at the back of a property, with clothing matching the description of what he was wearing when he was last seen.

BAPD identify human remains as missing Broken Arrow man

Broken Arrow Police identified the human bones found near East 131st Street South and South Olive Street on Sunday.
