*Preliminary Hearing both (@ 9am CT) - OK – 3 yr. old (Jan. 27, 2020: beaten w/belt, strapped to table & forced to wear shock collar for a week, Collinsville) – *Gustus Andrew Glen Pennington (24) arrested (1/28/20) & charged (2/21/20) with kidnapping, domestic assault & battery with a dangerous weapon, 5 counts of child abuse, 1 count of child neglect, conspiracy, possession of a controlled substance & possession of drug paraphernalia. Held without bond.
*Jeannette Lee Wilson (24) “mom” arrested (3/1/20) & charged (3/11/20) with 5 counts child abuse or neglect, 1 count of enabling child neglect & 1 count of conspiracy. $2M bond.

Rogers County Therapy Dog Comforts Children Testifying In Court

ROGERS COUNTY, Okla. -

As children sit at the bench to testify in some horrific cases in Rogers County, a therapy dog named Jerzy sits right by their side.

She has been known to put a paw up on a child’s hand or place her head in their lap while they talk to the jury.

Walking through the doors of a courthouse isn't an easy task for everyone. You would hope that as you gather the strength you need to walk into a courtroom you have a friend, someone who can help support you.

"The mood changes for everyone when Jerzy walks in," said Judge Lara Russell.

Jerzy the Aussiedoodle is that friend for children who are testifying in Rogers County.

What a beautiful companion dog for the children.
I believe Judge Lara Russell will be overseeing this case.
