OK - Ivy Webster, 14 and Brittney Brewer, 16, among 7 murdered by Jesse McFadden, Henryetta, 1 May 2023

She was only 13. It's disturbing that they felt it necessary to check her hands for gunpowder residue.
That's a routine test in cases like this.

I have a feeling that there are many, many details that are too graphic to get into the press.

The article seemed to imply that only Tiffany was tested for gunpowder. That may not be the case, of course.

Agree.

Recent revelations have already gone way past my own worst fears about what happened. Ongoing, horrific abuse of stepchildren, potentially with the assent/ consent of H makes a horrific series of crimes that much worse.

This cretin should never have been out of prison. Was he being protected?

MOO that is why LE shut down the investigation so quickly. "Nothing to see here, everyone is dead so nobody to prosecute, everyone go on home and mourn now."

the absolute lack of the most basic of investigations indicates CYA JMO

I have to agree with the previous couple of posts. Sheer incompetence at a local level would be the best case scenario. But involvement & cover-up seems more likely. Imo.

That it was on the heels of THIS mass murder probably contributed.

Henryetta is a few miles south of Okmulgee, which itself is a few miles south of Tulsa.

For sure. (Copying & pasting part of a post I made last year...):

Around the time of this case, there were also the cases of Cody Garde & his sister, plus the four men murdered in Okmulgee. Then this case. I posted at the time something along the lines of, "Oklahoma, are you okay over there?" Because it seemed like a few big, shocking crimes within a short stretch of time. And I feel like LE was kind of lackadaisical on the investigative side. MOO.

And, actually, I'm going back & looking & I see that there were even more cases...
