I'm glad to see this being brought up again. This one haunts me because of poor little Madyson. Wow. 24. That is sobering, isn't it?
I think tht mainly because of the "follow the money" comments I am really inclined to stick with what I have always believed and that is that someone murdered them. I'm not sure of who or exactly how, but that's my take.
You are right. The sheriff that led this cae basically said he knew who did it 2 months into investigation. And that person who killed them knew they were going to that mountain. I am very curious who may be.

and yet- in 2010 in the Disappeared: Paradise Lost- IB mentions that there are no suspects

“SIB: At this time we have no suspects, and until evidence comes to life to show differently, there are no suspects.” (thank you okiegranny for those transcripts)

Okay, maybe they didn’t want to publicly state their persons of interest. Seems odd since they’ve stated previous persons of interest in the same documentary.

So what evidence contradicted that?

We know the investigation left a lot to be desired, especially with evidence because the crime scene was not processed as a crime scene immediately. We know the only possible (conviction earning) evidence from the truck we may have be the latent fingerprints. But that is circumstantial, at best. Prosecutors can’t prove (beyond a reasonable doubt) that there was foul play because of the lack of bodies and eventually, the lack of soft tissue. So… what evidence made IB believe vehemently he knows who did it? Gut feelings? Those are some strong feelings. Watch the relevant section here ->Israel "Ish" Beauchamp

How can someone potentially murder three people with no evidence without some previous knowledge of how evidence is gathered? Or was the evidence so flawed from the beginning?
