I keep going back and forth. At first I really believed the husband was not involved. To support that I believe he was not sure what happened to his wife and didn't want to confess his wrong doings of helping with the prostitution and any other illegal stuff he was doing. So he was probably hoping she would come home and he wouldn't have to expose himself. Then when she wasn't found he started thinking he needed to tell the LE what was really going on, so he started telling them information about the "massages", craigslist etc. I still feel that he knows some other information that he is holding back because it incriminates himself with other things, not her disappearance. That is why he failed his lie detector, because he is still hiding information, but doesn't want to get into legal trouble.
On the other hand, I think he (along with someone else) could be involved in her disappearance. There is certainly a clear basis for that theory as well. I tend to lean to my first theory as it was my gut from the beginning. What is everyone else thinking about it??
I would imagine the laptop was destroyed to hide evidence........
I would like to know if Tina, Justin's mom, has hired an attorney. I thought Justin's choice of words during his TV plea was odd - the part about "if by some miracle you can see this" or something like that. Why, at that point, did he think it would take a miracle? I think he could have planted the purse of sex toys for LE to find - who leaves their SS card and marriage license on the dresser? It seems staged to me. The search warrant says that evidence to Jaymie's location may exist on the cell phone records, so hopefully we'll know more soon.
I've gone back and forth too, but I just don't believe an innocent person hires Irven Box.
I would imagine the laptop was destroyed to hide evidence........
Exactly. It would have been likely loaded with data about her recent activities and perhaps things implicating her husband or a third party. Convenient that it is missing now.
Yeah, but it's not really hidden. All her activity/transactions on the 'net is retrievable -- definitely on Craigslist & Backpages. I have faith in the computer nerds (I am one at times).
BBM: He could have planted the purse of sex toys to find, but why? This was their home & we now know they are kinky people. BTW & TMI but mine are in a red "purse", too :floorlaugh: and not really that hidden (my cat doesn't mind).
Some people keep important papers in their bedroom dresser drawers -- my sister does because this is an "off limits area" of her house. It drives me batty but I've seen all her kids' SSN cards, her marriage license, and my mother's death certificate on top of her dresser next to an ash tray with a lit ciggie just burning there (ARGH). :innocent: Not my problem she lives in a sty!
So, We don't know when the marriage license & SSN card were placed atop the dresser, maybe he retrieved them & laid them there after she "went missing". I don't know. Other reasons these certificates would be out & about? Insurance? 401(k) planning? LOL
This does sound hinky but with the way they lives their lives, what did they expect? Praying Jaymie is safe & happy wherever she is. The husband coming forth & exposing his/her life-style is very telling to me. I don't think he has anything to do with her disappearance with the exception he allowed & prompted this life-style (duh). IMHO, only
Oh, and can we find info (or can you supply info) on Irven Box? Good atty in the area? I know I'd be hiring an atty . . . would have before LE questioned me.
LOL, point taken. But, I meant he could have planted the purse of sex toys to collaborate his prostitution theory. There's no evidence that we know of to prove the prostitution theory, yet. I'm not saying I don't think it's true; I'm just not convinced that's what led to her disappearance.
Irven Box is a high-profile criminal attorney in OKC. Ill search for some background info on him.
Irven has received numerous awards including the Oklahoma Bar Association Pro Bono Award and also received the Clarence Darrow Award signifying outstanding criminal defense attorney for the State of Oklahoma.
Irven also represented the first defendant in the United States that was exonerated based upon a re-examination and use of new DNA testing.
Irven’s clients have included Judges, County Commissioners, Police, Public Officials and District Attorneys charged with various felony crimes.
Irven has been the legal analyst for KWTV, Channel 9 in Oklahoma City since 1995 and has covered as a legal analyst the O.J Simpson trial, both the McVeigh and Nichols trials in Denver as well as Bill Clinton impeachment, and the Bush/Gore election proceedings. Irven has appeared on National Television shows including Dan Rather, 60 Minutes, Geraldo Rivera, Maury Povich and numerous other court related programs. Irven is currently a legal analyst for KWTV Oklahoma City, KOTV Tulsa.
I found that a purse containing those just out in the open with children in the house a bit strange. Most folks will try to conceal their sex toys from their kids.
Can't retrieve photos and videos off the net. Personal writings can't be retrieved off the net. Lots of things can't be retrieved off of the net............
Has anyone yet explained why the husband called the police to get them to open her vehicle only a couple of hours after she went missing? If he was guilty of something, or thought that there was something in the vehicle that he needed to hide, wouldn't he have just called a tow company or a friend with a "slim jim" or anyone at all for that matter besides the police?
This guy doesn't seem too bright, but still, I don't get why he would call them so early on if he was involved in her disappearance. I realize he only wanted access to the vehicle (and then for the cops to leave), but he would know that in the process of opening it, they might see something... It just seems to me like, if he wanted to get the vehicle back to his house or whatever, he would not have called the cops at that point.
This might be a little more complicated...other people involved too maybe? I don't know.

I agree, why not call a tow service or AAA? Typically, LE won't come out to these types of calls & tell you to call a locksmith/tow truck/auto service . . . or break a window. Heck, it's his vehicle (even if the vehicle was registered in her name - ew, marriage certificate would prove that).
link brings me here . . . about cell towers? Do we have a link to the cell pings? Thanks!
I feel exactly the same way as you, even down to the details of your leaning to your "first theory". I felt the simplest solution was that something happened to her during her "work" and her husband did not really know how to react, how much he should reveal to police etc.
But now other info, particularly the cell phone locations, simply does not add up.
Note that in the warrant, it says "from the same telephone TOWERS" plural...so that means that multiple calls could have been made that used different towers, though both phones apparently used the same tower for each call... Interesting. I assume this refers to the call at 12:45 too... If the phones were already together or nearby at 12:45 am...hmm.
Regarding the cell phone calls, this link has tower locations:

Make sure to check the SPRINT box, which was her carrier, and none of the other boxes, and compare the tower locations to where she says she was.
The only thing to me that makes her husband look guilty - and this is huge - is the cell phone pings. That's really a big one. All the other stuff here is just evidence of a dark underside of her life.
