GUILTY OK - Jaymie Adams, 25, Blanchard, 9 Dec 2011

It's possible he is telling the truth, I don't know. Could be he didn't want anyone to know since they have kids together and he seems to have a good family. Imagine the embarrassment. If he did something to her though, then lied about the prostitution, he's a real piece of work.

Praying for you to come home to your children safely, Jaymie.

This article brings up the idea that the husband was involved directly in whatever happened to her. I am not convinced of that. Two main reasons:

1. I assume he was taking care of their 3 kids at home at the time she disappeared.

2. If, hypothetically, he was working with someone else who was also involved in the disappearance, why would he have called the police so soon? He reported her disappearance to the police just a few hours after they lost communication. This points me to the conclusion that he knew she was in a risky situation (meeting a total stranger for $ at night) and he got scared enough to call police relatively quickly. I know he just wanted access to the vehicle, but still, a guilty person would not have called police to the scene like that.

So I still don't think he was involved, except to the extent that he was totally aware of, and apparently OK with, her little business.

--i've never had much faith in those "[link removed]" blog posts, this one didn't look too hopeful, when she was wrong on her facts in her opening sentence.

"Jaymie Adams was reported missing on December 5, 2011.."

Have I missed that LE has taken and looked through her computer?

Craigs list is such a terrifying place, in the personals area. It's terrifying in any area, really, Craigslisters are a whole 'nother breed of odd people, with a few normal ones thrown in the mix.

From my experience.

i wonder if the husband has taken a lie detector test? I think the whole prostitution thing is made up.

Finally! Ok, I've been trying to get on here for about a week now, but the holidays and all, it took a while to get approved. I apologize for the disorganized post, but I have a lot going on atm, and I wanted to get this information to you all as quickly as possible.

The long-short of it is, I know Jaymie Adams personally although I have not spoken to her in several years. FYI, what I am about to divulge to the forum is already known by the authorities who are investigating Jaymie's disappearance.

By the time Jaymie was 18 or 19 years old, she was already an experienced stripper. She and a friend of mine (the father of her 3rd son) got together for a while. During the time she was with him, she would sneak out of their place late at night to cheat on him and, he has long suspected, to engage in prostitution. They were both unemployed, but after these late night trips, they would wind up with unexpected money. He said that she would tell him that she borrowed it from someone.

So, the "massage" business is very likely prostitution. Her past is very sordid and it is nothing for her to drop out of existence for a while only to pop back up again elsewhere in OK. She is experienced in dealing with homeless shelters.

The thing is though, she never leaves her oldest son behind. My friend and I were not surprised that she disappeared when we found out she went missing. However we found out a week after she went missing, and that is a long time for her to completely disappear. Not only that but even more alarming and outside her nature is that she left behind all of her kids. My friend believes that she has been involved in prostitution and drugs for several years now. She is very street smart and very manipulative, so this disappearance is surprising to us in that someone could get the drop on her.

Jaymie was adopted and grew up in Bartlesville, but I do not know anyone else in her family. What I do know is that she and her parents have been at odds for many years. From what I gathered, her adoptive parents are highly successful people and well off financially. However, they have never approved of Jaymie's decision-making which is unsurprising given what I know of her.

Additionally, Jaymie has spent a lot of time in the Tulsa and OKC areas of the state. If she has gone to ground for some reason, these are places to look for her. The last time my friend spoke to her was Feb of this year (2011). He is also the one who informed the authorities of her past. Not much help to the forum I know, but it's something. :(

I am hoping that knowing this will help you experienced websleuths in some way. I am amazed and impressed at how thorough the forumites in here have been in investigating Jaymie's disappearance. I figured that I could help by at least providing some details as to her character so that you all would not have to continue speculating on what kind of a person she is. Regardless of that, she has never wronged me and those of us who know her are concerned for her well-being. Her boys have definitely got to be missing her crazily because where she goes, they go.

Feel free to ask me questions, and I will try to get back to you asap. Maybe your questions might jog my memory to something that might help track her down, but then again I haven't spoken to her in years. Thanks everyone.

I agree with your thoughts, and would like to pose a question. Do we know for sure that he only wanted access to the vehicle when he called LE? Or did he merely ask them for assistance in unlocking it when they responded to his call AFTER telling them she was missing? That could make a difference, and I would hate for us to make that assumption if it isn't true. I'm pretty sure that if I was in the same situation, my hubby would want to get into my vehicle, he would not want to leave it sitting in a McD's parking lot, and oh, yeah... make sure I wasn't laying in the trunk dead.
I don't know about OK, but around here, when someone wants access to a locked car, police are quick to tell them they have to call a locksmith, that they are not obligated to do that. When he was unable to produce proof of ownership, they could have run the plates and found out who it was registered to.
I can well understand the guy's frustration, since LE always look at the spouse/boyfriend and they may have come down on him pretty hard. But like you, I find it hard to believe he would have reported her missing so quickly and met with LE at the location if he had done something to her. It's just not adding up. If you've killed your wife/husband, aren't you going to lay low for as long as possible and not call attention to yourself? Sounds to me like he was concerned about her and LE was already treating him like a suspect.
I could be way off, IDK. Just thinking out loud.

OK LE leads the nation in sending mixed messages. Never assume they're sitting on some sort of new evidence. What they're sitting on, mainly, is their rears.

Prostitute, stripper, or the Idolatress of Babylon herself there are three children to whom she is simply their mother - and love her regardless - waiting for her to come home.

I truly hope Justin is being honest and has stated what will help bring her back to them. I'm cynical though and all too often it is common for perpetrators to disparage their victims.

From the Find Jaymie Facebook page about a vigil:

I finally got an Ok from the manager at McDonalds. So I was thinking Friday night around 7:00 pm. The address to that McDonalds is 9000 S.E. 29th OKC OK 73130.(It is right off I-40 by Tinker) They want us to use the parking lot between the Denny's and McDonalds. It is on the South side.

This is such a tough one based on her possible history. She either is going to surface having been in hiding (which from the attention she may choose not to)

She may have met the wrong person that evening and we may never know.

Either way, it would be nice to know somethng for her kids sake.

I agree, ColdPizza.

I think if there is someone lurking around on Craigslist killing women, the public REALLY needs to know about it, and I don't see LE moving on that front at all.
