Police searching for Jaymie Adams, a missing Oklahoma mother of four, are now treating the case as a homicide.

Oklahoma City police Capt. Dexter Nelson said the department's missing persons and homicide divisions are working the Jaymie Adams case jointly.

“Homicide will get involved, in cases like this, because of the length of time she's been missing,” Nelson said Wednesday.

Blake Parsons, the father of Jaymie Adams' third child, said her husband's claim that she is involved in prostitution isn't surprising to him.

Parsons lived with the missing woman, on and off, for 18 months.

He described Jaymie Adams as “a loose cannon” who frequently was unfaithful during their relationship. Parsons said he would wake up “pretty much every night at two in the morning and she'd be gone.”

This mystery is kind of at an impasse.

It appears pretty certain she would run off on purpose, but it also looks very much like she was harmed. It looks like a complete toss-up.

I had thought the resolution to solving the mystery if she had met someone on purpose was a simple check of her computer and cell phone records, there's your answer.

But with what her ex is saying, it seems quite possible she met some complete stranger in the grocery store parking lot and intended to hook up. And then either left or was harmed.

This last article does begin to explain why her family seems completely estranged.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The brother of a missing metro mother is pleading for her safe return

Police said they have searched areas between Jaymie’s home in Blanchard and where her van was found in southeast Oklahoma City. Authorities would not elaborate on any more details of the investigation.

Officers also checked phone records for both Jaymie and Justin. They discovered the calls between both cell phones on the night Jaymie disappeared were relayed using the same telephone towers.

Police then spoke to the manager of Denny's, the same man Justin said had seen surveillance video of Jaymie. The manager told police he didn't remember seeing a woman who fit Jaymie's description. Investigators then reviewed the surveillance video and did not see Jaymie on it.

Justin told police his wife texted him just before midnight on December 9 to say she was meeting a different client at the McDonald's in Midwest City. He said he later received a text from Jaymie that the client did not show up.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is NO client... and further wouldn't be surprised if he is using her past to paint her in a bad light and deflect attention from himself...

my reason for thinking this:
1)ldt results
2)leaks to media about "massages" when he told the police she was going to macdonalds and the grocery store
3)the fact that she was taking classes in health care and her blog seemed upbeat

all moo... but wouldn't be surprised if he had just recently found out something about her past that he didn't know before...

eta: his "leaks" over the past few days have been almost like a smear campaign imhoo and are also a drastic change from what he initially said! I don't like this at all!

This newest info. also opens up a window between 11 and 3 for Justin to be out of the house (if what his mom and he are saying is the honest truth and mom wasn't babysitting the kids while they went "out.")
