GUILTY OK - Jaymie Adams, 25, Blanchard, 9 Dec 2011

they're charging him for prostituting his wife that led to her death. maybe not a murderer but a douche none the less.

This will be an interesting case to follow. I may be getting cases mixed up in my mind but I thought she had a prior husband who left her for being a prostitute although he spoke of her with affection.

I just read the autopsy report. What a horribly violent death.

It looks like no sperm was seen on the vaginal, oral, and rectal swabs at the time of her autopsy. It must have been when they were tested, that they came back showing Cyr's semen and therefore his DNA.

It's so scary that someone can be falsely arrested, charged with murder, and incarcerated, even with the forensics (DNA and cell phone) that we have today. This is something I really have to think about. It changes my perspective.

I'm even sadder that Jaymie was pregnant when she was murdered. :(

I really wish she and her husband hadn't engaged in prostitution, especially on Craigslist. So terribly dangerous, and this case is one of several that shows exactly why.

:twocents:

Rest in peace, Jaymie.

It seems EXTREMELY dangerous. And I don't think this was this guy's first violent crime - you don't go from a peaceful existence to such a hideous violent crime all at once. My guess is, there are others who were either brutalized or even murdered.

IIRC, it was the father of one of her sons. I'm not sure if they ever got married, but I think they lived together for a while.

Wow, can I say that they really messed this one up from the get-go?!!! I do think that Justin is a (((***))) and this is saying nothing about his mother; however, they really didn't get the evidence right from the beginning!?! And - that allowed Cyr to be out and free for how long?!

:rose: Justice for Jamie! :rose:

Maybe I'm crazy, but if I was going to stab someone I would wear work gloves to prevent cutting myself.

I'm not real comfortable with the argument that a person must be innocent because they don't have cuts on their hands.

Maybe they just thought far enough ahead to wear gloves so they didn't get caught. :twocents:

You are right. If a murder is premeditated there is good chance the killer will wear gloves but we didn't know Jaymie's murder was planned until Cyr was arrested.

In this case prosecutors can prove Cyr planned to murder Jaymie because police have a video and receipts showing Cyr buying items from a Walmart in the hours before Adams' disappearance that “are consistent with items found at the crime scene.”

I wonder if Cyr knew when he murdered Jaymie that she was pregnant? Now he'll face two counts of first degree murder and Oklahoma enforces the death penalty.

Investigators initially searched Cyr's truck for evidence in the case and released it back to him. LE would have kept the truck it if they found evidence so Cyr wasn't trying to sell the truck because of evidence.

Joseph Cyr is a scary looking dude imo. Jaymie was stabbed 29 times, her jaw was broken in 3 places and she was severely beaten. According to the warrant, investigators recovered sperm from Adams' body and several men voluntarily provided DNA samples to police, with the exception of Cyr. Then investigators obtained a search warrant for Cyr's DNA.

Here is the ad Justin Adams posted on Craig’s List:

“I’m letting any willing man to come and have his way with my wife with a little compensation. You don’t have to worry about getting caught LOL .”

The defense attorney said prosecutors are trying to link Adams to the murders by allowing his wife to be on Craigslist, that by doing so “he contributed to her death.”

Prostitution is illegal in the State of Oklahoma so I agree that Justin should be charged for that and if it leads to a person being murdered, I guess a charge of manslaughter is appropriate.

Jaymie had a life insurance policy when she died.

Right??? I just reread the arrest affadavit and my blood is boiling yet again. I would bet you can take a lucky guess as to who I am. But I shall follow the rules and get verified and then proceed to show you the blatant lies in the arrest affadavit.

OK I am verified and there's no way around hiding my identity. I am Joseph Cyr's girlfriend. First I must tell you...I am no lovestruck fool hopelessly defending her man. It's far from that. The reason I wanted to post here is that there are some....well I will call them "mistakes" in the arrest affadavit. I can prove a huge portion of that document to be false.

To begin...I will discuss the move(s) that are mentioned. I grew up in the area that I am currently living in and I had plans to leave Oklahoma City and move back. I started applying with my current company in August and received my first interview on October 24th. (I have the emails to prove it) When I was asked to proceed with an in person interview I told them I needed to wait because a move would be involved. I brought up the job to Joseph in November and it was decided that if I were to get the job we would move to the Tulsa area. The last week of November I contacted the company and asked if they would still be willing to interview me and they said yes. I interviewed on December 2nd. I was told the same day that I was selected for the job however it took another week to receive the formal offer letter. (Again I have email documentation of all of this)

The first I had heard of Jaymie Adams was when I received a call from a detective in OKC homicide department. He explained that my boyfriend had been in contact and he needed me to reaccount the night of December 9. I told him everything. Every text I sent. Every call. Every minor detail. I spoke to him a few times that day. Note: to clear up the receipt rumor. It is simply that...a rumor. I have a copy of the receipt. I'm the one who asked the detective if he would like a copy to verify the time of checkout and the location of the walmart. He said yes and I called Joseph immediately and Joseph immediately met the detective to give him the receipt. I do not believe that they have video of him at walmart because if they did...they would have look at the parking lot video and verified what vehicle he drove. I can tell you that the contents of the receipt were items to make me breakfast and a pair of zip of footed pajamas for me. Everything on the receipt came home. I woke up and he was sitting in the living room watching tv already. Thats yet another reason why this does not add up. I know what time he was home. There is no way in hades that he could have committ the crime describe in the autopsy report and be home when he was. (Yes the OKCPD know this...and I've even said...he made a call from home...trace the tower and see what time he was sitting at home!!) He was in the same clothes he left in. There was nothing out of place with his clothes or shoes or anything. He didn't come home and take a shower. When I woke up he gave me my pjs and I sat and watched tv for a bit and then went back to bed.

We moved on January 6th. On January 9th I spoke with a detective. I told him that we had relocated for my job and I gave him our new address. I want to note...that the detective spoke to me BEFORE they went to the house. They in fact did not find an abandoned house and my cell phone records show the times of the calls with the detective therefore the court will know I am not lying. It was after I told the detective...we moved and the house would be going on the market. I also told him that we had left the black mudding truck behind because a wheel bearing was out and we had to replace the entire hub which ended with us having to order the parts from AutoZone. (Again...they did not find it abandoned...they went to the house AFTER I told them) I also explained to him that the truck had not been driven since October 31st. Myself, Joseph and a friend had gone to a bonfire and there were several other guys mudding so of course the guys took the black truck as well. I told the detective the name of the individual who was with us who could verify you could HEAR something was wrong with the wheel bearing. We came home that night and the truck was not driven again. That day they seized the truck without proper issuing of a search warrant so I told Joseph to get an attorney. I was 100% honest with the detective and gave him information he didn't ask for. I was shocked to read the affadavit where they mentioned the black truck. For one, they had processed the truck and released it back to us. How the heck was I supposed to know it couldn't be sold? (I'm the one who wanted it sold b/c a three seater mud truck wasn't going to work well with a baby coming in August) What they don't tell you is the vehicle he actually drove that night he voluntarily took to the police and allowed them to process that vehicle. It too was released.

Over the next couple of months I spoke with the detective any and every single time he called me. I had told the detective that our home was not permanent. I had told him we would be making another move because we did not have any land for our horses. I also told him our cell phone numbers would not change. I let him know if he ever needed anything he could call me.

As you can see here we were both served on 4/20/2012 a forclosure notice on our rent house. We had been paying rent but they did not pay the mortgage.

http://www.oscn.net/applications/os...ype=caseGeneral&casemasterID=2515142&db=Tulsa

We began looking immediately for a new place because we knew the forclosure would take place around july/august. I was due in August and we wanted to move sooner than later. We found a place in mid to late May. We had to wait until June 13th to move in. I went on strict bedrest in early June due to preterm labor with my daughter. When we moved I did not unpack much. Joseph was working overtime and I was stuck in bed. The affadavit alludes to us being prepared to make another move. That is false. I told the detectives when they were in my home on July 27th that I was on bedrest and I couldn't unpack. I also told them that we signed a 3 year lease and had no plans of moving.

The affadavit also mentions not being able to locate us. I can't wrap my brain around that one. For one they went to his work...to obtain DNA. He had the same job. The affadavit even states his cell phone number didn't change and neither did mine. His attorney never received a phone call that they needed to speak with him. Above all of that I filled out a change of address for both of us so how in the heck could they not find him? I can assure you he was NOT hiding.

I had my daughter 3 weeks early on July 24th...on July 27th the police showed up at our home. They served a warrant from Tulsa country...ONE WARRANT. It was for his cell phone. Thats it. They proceeded to come into my home and kept telling me it was for "officer safety". Our attorneys both said to tell them to leave since they did not have a warrant. We did and they refused. Then it became apparant they were holding me in my home without a warrant. I was not allowed to use the restroom without asking. The hardest part was I asked if I could please go in the other room and leave the door open to breastfeed my 3 day old daughter. I was told no...officer safety. I asked for a female officer. They told me no...either I could feed her in front of them or she could wait to eat. The detective AND the leutenant both told us "We had only really came for his cell phone but the major phoned in and said to go ahead and search the house and take the vehicles". I sat in my house...unable to do even feed my daughter without several male officers watching with NO WARRANT present. Finally they got a warrant for the house but told me I could wait until they were done. OSBI came in and took things out in brown paper sacks. We asked for an inventory because one detective said we would get one but the leutenant said they would process everything and then give his attorney an inventory. To this day no inventory exists. We have no idea what all was taken from our house. Also no affadavit was returned to the courthouse. It is our constitutional right to have a public record of inventory and affadavit of probable cause. Hence why went to court against OKCPD in December.

In January we were both supoena'd to testify against Justin Adams at his preliminary hearing. I had made arrangements to be on call for that day in case they needed me. And then...all of the sudden Joseph is arrested.

I'm only here to ask that the police are held to the same laws as anyone else would be. It is a crime to falsify a sworn affadavit.

Every single day I pray that the truth comes out in this story. Nothing adds up to Joseph being her murderer. I hope and pray that a judge will be able to see that on July 1st.
