This is the case of a young woman who had been reported missing back in 1983- 1984, but as with many older records, they were lost or destroyed, and a new report is pending. Jequita Jean Knipe was born on June 3, 1960 to Everette Gene and Barbara Sue Knipe. She was pregnant when she married Harry Lee Wagnon, Jr. on December 2, 1977, in Texas, and six months later, she gave birth to a daughter, who for whatever reason, was given up for adoption, and the couple went their separate ways. She began dating Mark Sharp, whose family owned The Jockey Club in Cartwright, Oklahoma, and she was a dancer there at the time of her disappearance. It is known that from 1981- 1982, she had been incarcerated on charges that we are still trying to learn.

UPDATE: Through the research of Jequita's niece, newspaper articles date her disappearance to February 1986. A missing person report has officially been refiled, and I will update with a case number and Dna status as soon as it becomes available

Mother and father matches. Good find. They actually list Jaquita as deceased.

Did you ever submit this? Seems close enough to look into based on height/weight/age/proximity, etc.

In June, she said she then became aware of the unsolved murder case of Shawna Garber (left, a computer generated picture of what she would have looked like grown up), whose remains were found near Pineville, MO, in December 1990

Details of Disappearance​

Knipe was last seen in the vicinity of Willafa Woods Road and Boat Club Road in Cartwright, Oklahoma on February 15, 1986. She has never been heard from again. She didn't own a car at the time of her disappearance, and after she went missing authorities weren't able to determine if she'd taken any extra clothes with her. Few details are available in her case.
