That is why I believe Jody knew the person or persons who did this to her, she had to have trusted them! I was thinking suffacation?? Maybe they took her by surprise from behing with plastic bag of some sort or if they killed her in her home, they could have used a pillow or plastic... then taken her and her truck up to that mountain, dumped her body and dropped the truck far enough away to make it look like she ran off, in hopes that her body would never be found but now that it was, they only have the fact that the body was too decomposed to be able to get much from it.... with the FBI involved and them looking at it with fresh eyes will hopefully get SOME answers.
I'm not saying your the one that was wrong, I'm just pointing out that they miss-quoted her. Sorry, I didn't mean to inply otherwise.
Depending on the condition of her body I think there would be a noticable amount of patekial hemmoraging if she was suffocated
What about someone trained in martial arts? Could they kill a person without leaving any clues?
Don't know about the martial arts but that is a good point. I also know that there are conflicting reports that some of the brusing on Jody's body is thought to have been before she died and it was all on her left side and she was a lefty which would be the side she would use to defend herself. They also say some of it is from when they dragged her body after she was dead but it doesn't match up to a body that would be dragged and where the bruseing is etc... ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
"People need to realize the killer is still out there. I just pray some day we’ll have answers, and maybe this task force is what it will take.”
Jim Rilee, who is Wilson’s father, said he lobbied long and hard for a multi-agency task force.
"I know this: It won’t hurt,” Rilee said from his New Jersey home.
"I worked very hard getting this together, and I think the resources available to the FBI will be helpful, as opposed to the limited resources available to the OSBI in that region. The bottom line is more people will be involved.
"I just hope now that the FBI is involved more people will look at this case.”
Donald Wilson, Jody Wilson’s husband, is among those who have been questioned by investigators. He said he was out of state at the time of his wife’s disappearance with the couple’s infant daughter, who is now 10 months old.
"He (Donald Wilson) has been interviewed twice,” Curnutt confirmed. "Since then, he has retained an attorney and is refusing to talk further.”
"Some of the family members have even pointed fingers over the safe.”
Pitchford said "only a few people” had the combination to her father’s safe, but none would have hurt him.
"As for the safe, my sister (Shawna Martin) and I didn’t know the combination,” Pitchford said.
"But was the safe the motive behind the murder? Or was it opened to make it look like a robbery?”
