Welcome to WS, Bella23!

I've noticed the news isn't as reliable as it once was. Not just Oklahoma. It's all over the nation.

I just hope Jody and Joe's killers will be found.

Has anyone seen this one yet?

Body of missing woman found - Wednesday, 09 September 2009

What's weird is like Jody, no signs of foul play.

That is why I believe Jody knew the person or persons who did this to her, she had to have trusted them! I was thinking suffacation?? Maybe they took her by surprise from behing with plastic bag of some sort or if they killed her in her home, they could have used a pillow or plastic... then taken her and her truck up to that mountain, dumped her body and dropped the truck far enough away to make it look like she ran off, in hopes that her body would never be found but now that it was, they only have the fact that the body was too decomposed to be able to get much from it.... with the FBI involved and them looking at it with fresh eyes will hopefully get SOME answers.

What about someone trained in martial arts? Could they kill a person without leaving any clues?

Sorry, wasn't sure what you were saying.
Going to Topix & reading, bringing here, is a thankless, time consuming job.
Can't bring myself to go back to finish reading.

I was also thinking possibly poison? I know there are some things that leave only trace amounts for a very short period of time. Depending on the condition of her body I think there would be a noticable amount of patekial hemmoraging if she was suffocated, and the hyoid bone would most likely be broke if she was strangled. Like I said, all depends on the condition of her remains.

I googled the words and don't see anything listed.
What exactly is that?

Someone on Topix mentioned suffocation; I don't know if only skin would be bruised or if there would be other stuff. She didn't have a lot of flesh left so they may not be able to see marks on the skin.

I didn't think about that signs that would show she could or couldn't have been suffocated but I'm interested in this poisoning... you have my attention but please explain it to me as if I were a child, I'm not educated in the medical field.

Maybe.. someone who knows how to kill via using pressure points?..
Survivalist type that would know almost military hand to hand combat?. maybe even someone who looked it up online.
Just throwing some ideas out there..

Great news about the Task Force!
I hope they look into the Jamison Family disappearance as well..

Don't know about the martial arts but that is a good point. I also know that there are conflicting reports that some of the brusing on Jody's body is thought to have been before she died and it was all on her left side and she was a lefty which would be the side she would use to defend herself. They also say some of it is from when they dragged her body after she was dead but it doesn't match up to a body that would be dragged and where the bruseing is etc... ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

patekial hemmoraging

I think they meant petechiae, or small pin point bruising to the face. If the decomp was as stated, that would be lost, as it is very surface oriented.

Anyone else know the state of the certification of the Medical Examiner's Office? I was horrified to hear how bad the place was being run.

I've read that Jody's lost phone was actually found (in her house) a few days after she was found dead.

Where did you get that information?

Donald Wilson, Jody Wilson’s husband, is among those who have been questioned by investigators. He said he was out of state at the time of his wife’s disappearance with the couple’s infant daughter, who is now 10 months old.

"He (Donald Wilson) has been interviewed twice,” Curnutt confirmed. "Since then, he has retained an attorney and is refusing to talk further.”

BBM above...Yeah I bet Bo has retained a lawyer and quit talking ! He is my prime suspect, everything just seems to be to convient for me regarding his whereabouts, Jodi's cell phone that happened to disappear 2 days prior, the funeral...I can go on and on.
I most certainly hope it is not to late to piece this all together, cause it sure seems OK has a hard time figuring things out.
The other thing I don't like is it is my understanding that unless LE ok's to run a story and gives the info in the media nothing is written up about it ?!!!
How do they expect help when they don't plead for help through the media and put more info out for all these missing people in OK, that is one of the most stupidist things I have ever heard if in fact it is true....
I hope they can bring Jodi's killer in along with Joe Neff's. There is no doubt in my mind that Joe's killer is local and knew him well....

I am soooo glad Mr. Rilee has stayed on top of finding who killed his daughter!

I'm going to post what I just posted in Jody's topix post & to Joe's post.. no disrespect to Mysticrose.

IMO, the 2 crimes are not related.. I fully expect the hubby to get arrested at some point for Jody's murder.

Task force sought for Le Flore County's pending cases News OK.com

I want to point out that it looks like Jody's dad used his political pull to get the task force going ~Snip~

"People need to realize the killer is still out there. I just pray some day we’ll have answers, and maybe this task force is what it will take.”

Jim Rilee, who is Wilson’s father, said he lobbied long and hard for a multi-agency task force.

"I know this: It won’t hurt,” Rilee said from his New Jersey home.

"I worked very hard getting this together, and I think the resources available to the FBI will be helpful, as opposed to the limited resources available to the OSBI in that region. The bottom line is more people will be involved.

"I just hope now that the FBI is involved more people will look at this case.”

Also -

"Some of the family members have even pointed fingers over the safe.”

Pitchford said "only a few people” had the combination to her father’s safe, but none would have hurt him.

"As for the safe, my sister (Shawna Martin) and I didn’t know the combination,” Pitchford said.

"But was the safe the motive behind the murder? Or was it opened to make it look like a robbery?”

Hi Roselvr...I do not feel these two case are connected either at all.
As I have said before and the whole time of this case that it is the husband who killed Jodi.

My take for Joe Neff is that it is someone local from the area and probally knew Joe well. Because of where Joe's body was dumped points to a local and probally someone who actually fished that area. It is not just a random dumping site...IMO

Here is why I feel Jody and Joes's murders are related: According to my map, Joe was found about 10 miles from Jodies town, and Jodie was found about the same distance from Joes town/home. This just seems immposible to be by accident. It's almost as if they are sending a signal or something. This also brings into the possibility that two seperate groups are operating in concert with each other. But, bottom line is these two murders appear to be related.

Everyone has "feelings" about things. I could never figure out why my mother thought I had been out smoking cigarettes. She always said "A little birdie told me." Years later she told me that I smelled like smoke. I understand what you are saying. The only difference is, I was hanging around guys that were smoking, and it got all over my clothes. This man is the first suspect, but be carefull when you say "he did it." That's pretty bold, and may not be the truth.
