Interesting that the sheriff's "gut feeling" is he's still alive, and also that it's not his first disappearing act

"I really think he's out there," he said. "I would really like to believe that this individual left for some unknown reason."

Rice said that Cobb previously lived in the Oklahoma City area where he abruptly left without telling anyone.

I find it interesting that this man abruptly left the Oklahoma City area without telling anyone. I wonder if he left a family in Oklahoma City also? Did he ever explain his reason for leaving Oklahoma City area without telling anyone?

I have lots of questions...but hoping and praying he is still alive.

Justin was my step-dad the protective order has nothing to do with his disappearance

I don’t see this UP in the exclusions. He looks like Justin, including his ears, chin and jawline. He was found 10/28/13 in Daytona Beach.

UP height is only estimated and not near as tall as Justin but I think its worth a look.

Skeletal remains were located approximately 15 feet in the woods from the grass shoulder of the roadway. They were underneath pine needles and dirt, appearing as if they had been in the area for quite some time.

Thirty-four-year-old Justin Cobb was last seen at a friend’s Quickie Mart near 51st and Peoria in Tulsa on August 10th, 2012.

He has not been seen or heard from since.

Justin had told his friend that he thought he was in trouble, at the time the friend thought Justin was talking about being overheated, as he had just come from his last air conditioning repair of the day and looked hot. Justin grabbed a bottle of water and said he was going to the hospital, got into his van and left. Two weeks prior to his disappearance he had been to the hospital for heat exhaustion.

His work van was found four days later, in a rural part of Okmulgee County. His wallet with its contents intact was found inside the van. However, several items were found outside of the van, including Justin’s clothing. As far as anyone could tell, nothing was missing.

At the time of his disappearance, Justin is described as being 6’4, 190 pounds, with a shaved head and hazel eyes

<<Circumstances of Disappearance Justin Cobb was last seen at about 4:30 p.m. at Quickie Mart which is a skateboard shop located between 51st and Peoria and 61st and Peoria, Tulsa Oklahoma. His van and all possessions to include clothing were found near Haskell, Oklahoma in a wooded area reportedly on Wednesday, August 15th, 2012.
