Wife of slain Nichols Hills fire chief pleads not guilty in his death (Daily Oklahoman)

EL RENO — Rebecca Bryan, of Mustang, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to a first-degree murder charge in the shooting death of her husband, Nichols Hills Fire Chief Keith Bryan.

A motion hearing is set for June 26.

Bryan's attorney, Gary James, said she is staying strong. “She prays a lot.”

Fox 25 legal analyst David Slane said evidence like the murder weapon found in the dryer, and matching bullets found in the bedroom will all be ammunition for prosecutors. Court documents also show that Rebecca contacted a former lover hours before her husbands death, and told him she would soon be coming into some inheritance money.
