Others suspected perps were Phil Welch and Dave Pennington (spellings?) and they have since died

Polaroid photos of the girls were seen by multiple people
perps made multiple comments on the crime to other people while still alive

Update: Charges filed in northeast Oklahoma cold case

Charges were filed Monday in the 18-year-old case of two teenagers who disappeared from the burning mobile home where one girl’s parents had been gunned down.

An insurance card discovered by private investigators proved to be a key in the Craig County quadruple homicide.

Ronnie Dean Busick, 66, is charged in Craig County District Court with four counts of first degree murder, two counts of kidnapping and one count of arson. Busick is in custody at a jail in Harvey County, Kansas.

The other suspects are Warren Phillip Welch II, 61, who died in 2007 and David A. Pennington, 56, who died in 2015.

The teens’ bodies are still missing. They are believed to be in a pit or mineshaft in the area known as the Tar Creek Superfund site in the northeast Oklahoma or “dumped in a cellar that was later covered in concrete,” according to a 29-page probable cause affidavit filed Monday in Craig County District Court.
