Oklahoma City mom, runner has gone missing

The Oklahoma City mom and runner has been missing since Tuesday. According to friends, she talked to a co-worker at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and has not been seen or heard from since.

A missing person report has been filed with the Oklahoma City Police.

Driskill, 34, is Native American. She has dark brown hair and eyes. She is 5-foot-7 or 5-foot-8, 150 pounds, and she has a clock tattoo on the upper part of her left arm.

This doesn't sound good; she's already been missing since Tuesday.

Trying to catch up. So do we think she went running at WR Park? Or was this a car dump location?

My daughter and I were at Will Rogers Tuesday from 5pm to sunset. I wish I could recall anything about the vehicle. I will say I was there about two days prior by myself past sunset, and a patrol came to my car and asked me if I had seen anyone else go inside the park as I was leaving. It seems that the vehicle would have been noticed Tuesday night. It’s an open park with plenty of people. It seems odd that something would happen during the day there in my opinion.

Disappointingly, there is no post yet about Leslie being missing on the Oklahoma City PD on Facebook.

Thank you, @MG555, for the local information about the park, and welcome to Websleuths! Are you hearing anything locally on the news about Leslie being missing?

No, she is a friend of a friend so I just started searching for info and was surprised to find that Will Rogers was mentioned. I literally just drove through the park from the opposite side just to see a different view. There are different lots throughout the park, and there is a wooded area that really isn’t anything I’ve noticed before. Really, I’m a runner myself and concerned for the gal.

Leslie needs to be getting more media attention. Does Leslie have family or friends that could get in touch with the media?

It’s pretty much on Facebook, and the Landrunners Oklahoma City Club. It’s getting a lot of shares. The Oklahoman just ran a story on it. Maybe since the car has now been located perhaps we will see more attention to it.

This is very concerning. I wonder if she ran in that park frequently? It is possible she went running there during the day Tuesday and went missing from there, I guess. I wonder if they have been able to find anything by tracking her cell phone?

Or if she was harmed by someone she knows, maybe they planted her car there since they knew she went running there to throw people off the track? All just supposition on my part.

Very interesting case may take shape -- hope she's found first, alive and well, before it has a chance to start, though.

Link to her Goodreads page: Leslie Driskill

I'm actually seeing a few potential red flags in some of the books on the "currently reading" page as well as a couple that she read in 2019.

Specifically, I'm wondering if she recently ended any relationships, and if so, how amicably those were dissolved/resolved.

JMO.

@swedeheart I had seen that posted on a public post as well. It’s terrifying.

Here is a news story on her.
News 9

And this one that states where her car was found.
Search for Oklahoma scientist whose car was found abandoned at park six days after she disappeared | Daily Mail Online

Given that the article states she lives about a mile from the park, I’m not as surprised that she might have went for a run there. But, I’d like to know from her running friends if running there was typical for her. I do think the article has the date the car was found as wrong. I think it was found Saturday. I heard many unconfirmed reports of it. News even stated it but said police wouldn’t confirm.

From the article:

She texted a colleague at around 11.30am the following day, but has not been heard from since.

Friends and family fear Driskill could be in danger after her car was found abandoned on Sunday morning at Will Rogers Park, about a mile from her home.

'You just don't know and that is frightening to think about,' her friend David Bach told News 9.
