On April 19th 2007, my Husband was murdered in front of both of my sons. My oldest son is the sole witness, but under the advice of a counselor, he was not permitted to testify. The suspect was initially arrested, but once the police discovered my son wouldn't be able to testify, the suspect was released from jail November 30th 2008, my late husband's birthday. This is considered a cold case...I would love the opportunity to tell my story, although it is not a pretty one. But my sole purpose for requesting your assistance is to bring justice and close this case, so that me and my children can finally have peace and know what really occurred that horrible night that changed our lives forever. Thank you.

Welcome to Websleuths
How traumatic this has to be for you and your son's everyday for the last 15 years. But especially for your witnessing son. I do know how difficult it is to begin to have closure, which IMO doesn't easily come without the answers you seek. There are many, many caring and scary smart members here that I hope can help you work towards answers. Peace be with you.

The first item to come up in my search is the Gun violence memorial page.
There appears to be two MSM links on the middle of the Gun Violence Memorial organization site I will link here.
There are personal and personality questions that have gone unanswered and I'd really love to see you fill in as many blanks as possible though. It's an opportunity to get more information put out for your husband after death.
There is also a place to light a candle on the linked page . It doesn't cost anything and it's allowed to be lit once every 24 hours . If it's any comfort in knowing, I lit a candle just now. .
