Miracle Lashay Crook, 2, and Tony Demone Crook, 1, were last seen by their mom on Thursday in the area of 2200 S 96th E Ave, police said.

“[We] haven’t called this an Amber Alert yet, because we don’t have enough to call this an abduction, we are pushing it as far as we can because we know the kids are in danger,” Adams said. “Our hope is someone saw them and took them in, and just hasn’t gotten around to calling police.”

Police tell us the children were with their mother, Donisha Willis, when they went missing.

Lieutenant John Adams says Willis' parents and sister stopped by the apartment Friday night.

Officers found the door open and Willis passed out on the couch.

When asked where the children were, Willis became verbally abusive and said she didn't care.

Tulsa Police Detectives are looking for any information on the whereabouts of two missing children.

2 year old, Miracle Lashay Crook, and 1 year old, Tony Demone Crook, were last seen by a family member on Thursday May 21st, 2020 in the area of 2200 S 96th E Ave.

If anyone has any information about the location of these two children please contact the police at (918) 596-9222.

At this time, this does not rise to the level of an Amber Alert. We are still gathering information and will update when it become available.

We understand and appreciate everyone's opinion on this matter and questions about why it does not qualify for an Amber Alert. However, we do not set the regulations for the criteria necessary to initiate an Amber Alert and because of that we can't trigger the nationwide system at this time.

How horrible. Nothing surprises me anymore. The deadbeat mother needs to do some explaining.

Oh my gosh, they are adorable. So many people would love them the way they should be loved. How horrible. This frightens me that she was the last one to see them and says she doesn't care.

_______________

Okay, the children were last seen on Friday. Not Thursday as previously reported.

I am assuming it was the parents, and sister, who found the open door. Not the officers as listed in the report.

This needs to be a HOT Topic IMVHO!

"Police say this incident does not yet meet the criteria for an Amber Alert."

So, I'm guessing that means they can't confirm (yet) an abduction took place?
