Court documents reveal the details on how Love County Sheriff Joe Russell knowingly let his son, Willie, sell and use meth out of not just his home, but his sheriff patrol pick-up truck, for over four years until he was arrested last May.

"Russell is due in criminal court on Tuesday and again on Aug. 2, to face those civil charges that may remove him from office.

The agent said the woman would frequently use meth inside the sheriff's house.

"She referred to it as "booty bumping." It would be mixed up, placed in a syringe, and then shot into her rectum [by the sheriff's son]."

The agent also said through the investigation they had one person tell them Sheriff Russell arrested a group of women drinking in bikinis by the Red River but instead of taking them to jail, he brought them back to his house "to have them dance, strip. Either Willie would strip them, sometimes Joe would… they (the girls) would then go ahead and partake of the meth that Willie would offer them and stay and party."

Family members of missing teen Molly Miller said they believe Tuesday's arrest of Love County Sheriff Joe Russell will finally bring them some answers.
Russell's arrest was not directly linked to Miller and her friend Colt Haynes who disappeared in 2013.

“I believe with Joe’s arrest, that will be the beginning for us,” said Paula Fielder, Miller’s cousin.

Russell was arrested Tuesday after a grand jury recommended he be removed from office. The grand jury report doesn't mention Miller but Miller's cousin said the FBI recently told her such an arrest could be a breakthrough.

“With the arrest of Joe Russell, they believe we will get the answers we have been looking for about Molly and Colt’s disappearance,” she said.

Jordan Buckaloo served two prison terms in Oklahoma.

The first was on an Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Drug charge out of Love County. His sentence was 2 years and his imprisonment was from 3-2006 to 1-2007.

His second prison term began on 8-2008 on concurrent sentences of 5 and 3 years on Love County convictions for Assault on a Police Officer and Domestic Abuse by Strangulation.

One of his relatives shed some light on the 2008 convictions in a 2012 interview:

Buckaloo had a drug problem that came to a head in 2008, when he was convicted of attacking his mother and fighting two deputies who showed up to arrest him. Two summers agp, he got out of jail and worked as a welder while trying to get his life back together.

I'm speculating that Joe Russell and possibly Willie Russell know more about the death of Jordan Buckaloo than they have ever indicated to the public.

I'm also speculating that people who knew Buckaloo are sharing information with investigators looking at Joe Russell.

No necessity to shield oneself anymore from a crooked lawman who appears to be going down hard.

Jordan Buckaloo was last known seen at around 6:00 am on 6-19-2011.

OSBI and Love County Sheriff’s Office need help finding Jordan “Buck” Buckaloo. The forty-three year old from Marietta was last seen Sunday, June 19, 2011, at about 6 o’clock in the morning when he left a party in northwestern rural Love County. Two days later, Buckaloo’s 2000 Mazda four door sedan was found abandoned along with his clothing, shoes, wallet, and keys on the north side of the Hickory Creek Wildlife Management Area in central Love County. Local law enforcement has conducted intense searches in the area with no results. Officials believe foul play may be involved. If you have any information about this case, please contact either the OSBI at 1-800-522-8017 or the Love County Sheriff’s Office at 580-276-3150.

Buckaloo stands 5’9” tall, weighs approximately 200 pounds with brown hair and eyes. He is missing the lower lobe of his right ear, has a scar across his chest, and has numerous tattoos on his body including lightning bolts on his right hand.

Buckaloo had contact with the Love County Sheriff's Office on 6-11-2011 when he was arrested by that agency on a bench warrant issued on 6-10-2011.

There was a court appearance scheduled on that date regarding a payment plan for unpaid court costs and fines that resulted from his 5-12-2008 arrest on charges of Domestic Abuse and Assault/Battery on a Police Officer.

Communication between the District Court and Buckaloo regarding the costs and fines due began on 7-14-2010, shortly after his release from prison.

The bench warrant was issued for a failure to appear for that court appointment on 6-10-2011, resulting in his arrest the next day.

He had a third charge resulting from that 5-12-2008 arrest: Transferring Bodily Fluids Upon a Police Officer While in Custody. That charge was dropped pursuant to plea negotiations on the two charges for which he served time in prison. He was assessed court costs on the third charge that were part of the 6-11-2011 arrest.

He was released from the Love County jail on 6-13-2011.

District Court records reflect that he paid $355.11 to the court on that day, the costs and fines balances due from his 5-12-2008 charges.

A family member of Buckaloo's suggests that he was involved in an argument with an unnamed/unidentified person at the party where he was last reported seen.

Jordan Buckaloo was last seen at a party on a ranch and his aunt thinks he may have had an argument with someone there. She has even heard rumors that more than one person claimed to have killed him.

"He went to his uncle's after midnight on Father's Day which was June 19 and that was the last time family members saw him," Mary Buckaloo said. "It's just been really hard not knowing where he is and they immediately start saying he was murdered -- this one did it, this one did it."

Wednesday morning [6-22-2011], the family of 46-year-old Jordan Buckaloo filed a missing person's report -- after his belongings were found near Hickory Creek [found on 6-21-22], but he was missing and so was his cellphone.

Over the weekend, the 46-year-old was down at Hickory Creek Refuge repairing a rope near the dock. Hours later his family was contacted saying a fisherman saw his clothes, wallet, car and keys near the creek -- but Buckaloo was nowhere to be found.

Love County Undersheriff Jason Bone says they are now testing evidence including the victim's car, clothes and are contacting OSBI to help with forensics. Authorities are also following several strong leads and have been interviewing witnesses since Monday [6-20-2011].

Love County Undersheriff Jason Bone cited in the 2011 report on Buckaloo's disappearance had his own issue related to criminal conduct while a member of the Love County Sheriff's Office:

Former Love County Undersheriff Jason Bone has found himself on the other side of the law facing and multiple counts of embezzlement.

Hicks told The Ardmoreite, the charges are based on an OSBI investigation into money missing from a safe, located in the Love County Sheriff’s Department. The District 6 DA said $73,000 seized from an Interstate 35 drug investigation had been placed in the safe. Bone is charged with removing between $23,000 and $20,000 of the seized funds for his own use.

"SS BOTTS" is probably SS bolts, very common for Aryan prison gangs.

The two predominant white prison gangs in Oklahoma prisons are the Universal Aryan Brotherhood (UAB) and the Irish Mob.

Both have a presence outside of prisons and both are known to be involved in the trafficking of methamphetamine and other illegal drugs. They are both known to work with other drug trafficking organizations. I have come across members of both in the past involved in unrelated drug trafficking cases originating in Texas.

UAB is independent of the original AB based in California. It is primarily located in the Oklahoma prison system.

I'm not suggesting that a prison gang is behind or even directly involved the disappearance of Molly and Colt, altough it is certainly possible that members in Love County may have knowledge of what happened or be indirectly involved.

I only wish to point out that I am seeing the presence of prison gang members in Love County. That presence should be recognizable and known to Love County law enforcement.

Federal and state investigators would also recognize that presence and have a very good understanding of the relationship of those organizations and drug trafficking outside of prisons.

This is why I think the ongoing federal and state investigation into Love County probably includes person(s) who may or may not have direct or indirect knowledge of what happened to Molly and Colt.

"Silence" is a proclaimed to be one of the loyalty "virtues" among prison gangs and drug trafficking organizations.

"Silence" often collapses in the harsh reality of rigorous investigation. Hoping that such collapses will in fact lead to answers about Molly and Colt as well as Buckaloo.

I'm of the opinion that Brandon's disappearance may indeed be connected in some fashion.

I found an interesting track from some Love County players to Fort Worth that I'm looking at. I'll be taking a closer look at Brandon's case and Carter County to see who and what may be there that rings bells known to me.

We started the hunt for Sheriff Russell at the Sheriff's office. It was the middle of the afternoon and while we were told he was still on the job, he was nowhere to be found.

Marion Joe Russell had a court appearance scheduled for 8:30 am on Tuesday, July 26 (today) on his criminal case.

The appearance was his Initial Appearance.

To the best of my understanding of the process in Oklahoma, this appearance would also include a formal arraignment where he would enter a plea.

I expect that KXII probably had/has someone in Madill to provide a report on the appearance.

Russell's criminal case # is CF-2016-00194.

The charges are: 1) Harboring a Fugitive From Justice, and 2) Maintaining A House Where Drugs Are Kept.

The DA is Kathryn R. Savage of the Oklahoma Attorney General's office in Oklahoma City.

Gary Brown is also listed as a case attorney. I believe he is an Assistant District Attorney for the 20th District.

The criminal case is being heard in the 20th District Court (Carter, Johnston, Love, Marshall, and Murray counties.)

The judge listed for today's appearance is Wallace Coppedge in Madill.

Russell's Accusation For Removal is a civil case.

The case # is CV-2016-00023.

The Plaintiff bringing the suit is the State of Oklahoma.

The Plaintiff's attorney is listed as Kathryn R. Savage (Office of the Attorney General.)

The civil case will be heard in 7th District Court in Oklahoma County (Oklahoma City.)

The judge assigned to the case is Donald R. Deason.

Joe Russell pleaded not guilty this morning in front of a packed courtroom. Family members of both Russell and Molly Miller, a local girl missing for three years, were present, as were FBI agents and members of the community.

The judge ruled that Russell isn't to have any contact with any witnesses. The State Attorney General’s Office is prosecuting the case.
Russell was advised of his rights and released on his own recognizance. A preliminary conference has been set for August 9.

To my knowledge, this bit of reporting from KOCO isn't entirely accurate:

Russell still faces a court date in federal civil court, which could result in his removal from office.

The civil suit to remove him from office is a state action, not federal.

Removals of elected officials in a state are governed by state laws and state constitutions, not federal.

Federal cases are not heard in state courts, nor are they brought by states' attorneys. They are also not listed in ODCR.

That's not to say that, down the road, Russell won't be facing federal criminal charges or a federal civil suit.

It's not every day that FBI agents attend an arraignment on state charges. I found that interesting and an indication that he is very much under their gaze.

There could be a sealed federal indictment out there with Russell's name on it, or charges being prepared for presentation to a federal grand jury.

Willie Russell's charge is federal; it was brought by the US Attorney for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.

He is currently in the Muskogee County jail awaiting sentencing. The federal courthouse for the Eastern District of Oklahoma is located in Muskogee.

I noticed some confusion in reporting when Joe Russell was arrested.

Some initial reports said he was arrested on federal charges. Those reports were not accurate as his criminal charges (so far) are state charges.

Just trying to keep straight what we're seeing and what we're not. So far.

That would be my guess as to the OR.

It could also be a matter of what is typically granted by that judge and in that jurisdiction.

I'm not familiar with how that is determined in Oklahoma.

It varies from jurisdiction to jurisdiction in my state (Texas.) Some courts and judges rarely release on Personal Recognizance while others are quite generous with it.

I don't think he is a flight risk at this time.

A suicide risk, perhaps.

Danger to others? Possibly, but I don't think he is totally unmonitored at this time.
