There is something strange about that colored area. It almost looks like fire retardant was sprayed all around or maybe lime or something.

If it was just ashes, then the first rain would wash most of the color out and make it darker. It just looks really strange.

My first thought was lime, but fire retardant makes sense too. I wasn't sure if it was natural or not. It looks like it is on top of the ground–not part of the ground.

bolded by me

Wow! Do you suppose someone murdered him because he snitched on a meth dealer? Maybe it was a payback?

Seems like anything goes down there. But OKGranny said he wasn't murdered. This case literally revolves around drugs. Most likely that is how it will be solved. Someone high talking about secrets. I don't think CH was a snitch, seriously, who would he tell? CN's cousin? But why was that case dropped? There are so many scenarios that are plausible it's crazy.

  • #724
With no body, no evidence for an arrest, what information could the family have received that indicated they were dead? I can see where that is the logical conclusion for CH but what about MM?
Could she have left the road for a "short cut"?

  • #725
Bumping for them..

  • #726
I think the key to this whole case lies in those phone calls. If we knew more thoroughly what was said in those calls and texts, primarily from Molly's phone, we would have a much better understanding of who was where, when and with whom. IMO the calls and texts hold the puzzle piece.

  • #727
I think that is true, but as far as I understand it, it would not be permissible in court. (Hearsay) Unless they find the bodies and then I think what they told someone about who, what, when, and where will be admissible. I have thought about those calls and texts and the fact there has been no arrests.... Either there wasn't any info passed regarding CN, or the above scenario is true. I can't come up with anything else.

  • #728
i am bumping again too. I know people don't like a bump w/ no new info, but it's not like we have all the info we need to keep talking. I hate seeing this on the 2nd page!

Well now, isn't this just a showcase for injustice. What a thoroughly disgusting example of law enforcement. It's too late for that so called sheriff related to the P.O.I. to start talking; at this point he's just got to go along and reinforce his original bad decisions. What an idiot. I won't be surprised if we see him on a "60 minutes" segment of small town injustice.

Let me throw out some ideas that may or may not have already been explored or actioned:

See if the closest university with law and/or criminal justice curriculum will "adopt" this case and help bring it to justice. I think the dean of law would find it a fascinating case study in "ethics". Are there any civil or criminal charges that the Love County Sheriff could be brought up on for obstruction of justice? What about Con Nipp? I would be interested in hearing if there were any such charges that could be brought upon him, or even an insurance or civil case that could be brought upon him for wrongful death? (Even if it couldn't be proved it would be just wonderful to put him through the process, and require further details to be revealed).

Posters - I see the posters of the missing victims; what about posters of the P.O.I. "Ask Con Nipp what happened to Molly & Colt!) Get a billboard. (This is what Desiree Young has done with the case of her missing son).

YouTube - create, or ask a local film student to create a short video about the case. Showcase questions about Con Nipp. Do not suggest anything unproven, but ask a lot of questions. Ask a communications major how to make the video go viral, and how to *really* get a massive social media campaign going. Learn how to elevate Google results, and how to make the video one that "trends" on YouTube. GET THE WORD OUT IN A VERY BIG WAY.

Of course we don't want to attack Con Nipp. We just want him to tell everything he knows in great detail. And of course, any innocent person would want to help, I'm sure. And likewise with his relative the Love County Sheriff. While I'm sure he thought he was doing the right thing, I'm sure he can see now that he hasn't helped, and that this isn't going away. THIS ISN'T GOING AWAY. If anything, it's picking up steam.

The burnt out pit that was found. What type of testing has taken place on that residue? I think human DNA can still be detected, but I defer to someone more in the know on that.

So I hope that Molly & Colt's family see this post, and I want to tell them to stay fierce. They've done a fantastic job so far, and now it's time to ratchet their efforts up several notches. Start off by asking every single person who visits their Facebook page to repost the missing poster for one week. Contact the local university and get the students to "adopt" this case. Communications, criminal justice, law, and film students. You need massive social media exposure, and pressure put on those who think they can hide from the truth.
You need some help in escorting Truth to come a knockin' at their doors.

And to those COWARDS who aren't telling what they know. Well just remember, Karma's a "b".

Yeah. This. It's noted that spelling "Oklahoma" and "justice" - different letters, true. But as a sort of adoptive guy here - I'm from Kansas - just everyone should know this, too: Oklahomans are a warm and loving people. They don't give up and they'll see this through.

The driver, to my knowledge, hasn't been charged with anything, even though he could be for eluding police in the chase. The chase ended on a dead end road, that just happened to be family land. WHY didn't the police continue the chase since it was a dead end road? And the girl, Molly was a passenger in that car during that chase! She called 911, but we don't know whether anything was said to 911, or whether the phone was taken from her or what. Colt was also a passenger in the car. Neither Colt, nor Molly has been seen since!

Family didn't know they were with the driver of the car. It wasn't until friends told the family who they were with. Phone records apparently prove that to be true.

There was a fire, near where the abandoned car was found, in the field. Car from all reports had been wiped clean, no finger prints. The fire was in a pit. A 10ft hole that burned for days, and days. Police knew of the fire, but it wasn't until someone went to the police, told them they were going to the fire themselves, and actually did, that police showed up 4.5hrs later! Report via a newspaper stated the fire was burning a stump, and the roots when 6ft deep. Don't know about any of you, but I've burned stumps, brush piles, etc., and NEVER had one burn for more than a few hours. Fire has to be tended to, more stuff thrown on it, etc. in order to keep it burning. Sooo the question is WHO was burning the "stump" and WHY? Nothing I've read has answered those questions.

(Snipped for space)
I'm going back to the beginning to learn everything I can, so forgive me if this has been addressed.

What if they were burning the chemicals from the Meth lab? How long could those chemicals burn without tending?

I'm sorry if this has already been addressed, but was the car involved in the case ever taken in and searched for evidence, DNA, or fibers? Or is this an impossibility due to there being no proof either MM or CH were in the car?

They know they were in the car because of their phone calls for help. The only one not known to be in the car is CN. When they get that proof an arrest will be made, IMO. DNA from the car wouldn't help much on that because his DNA should be there.

I'm pretty sure they did process the car after Molly's family filed a missing person's report. Not sure, how thorough they were about it though. I believe the car wasn't found until 2 weeks after the car chase. Someone (CN?) could have gone back to the car and wiped down the fingerprints, before LE found the car and were able to process it. Although, Molly's purse was supposedly found in the car. Seems like some stuff was left untouched. Unless, her purse was put back into the car by someone.

Just some thoughts and JMO . .

Good.
You'd certainly think the good people of OK wouldn't want this CN miscreant running loose in their communities. An alleged bad seed like that doesn't "outgrow" those criminal tendencies. This is why we have institutions to separate evil doers from good citizens.

The car was taken in for processing by the OHP much later. Probably too long after the fact to be of any use. Nothing of any real forensic value happened before then, when it was in the hands of local LE, as far as we know.

“She was in a car with people she thought were her friends,” said Paula Fielder, Miller’s cousin. “And she’s not here.”

Fielder says the teen and a friend, Colt Haynes, went missing July 8 while riding in a car, driven by a friend. Wilson police say James “Con” Nipp was driving that car, which spun out in front of a police car, led authorities on a chase to Love County and eventually got away. The car was found abandoned in Love County, but Miller and Haynes were never located.

“I can’t really say who is responsible,” said Fielder. “There was somebody driving the car. He was the last one seen with her and he’s the only one still here.”

It's been almost five months since Wilson teen, Molly Miller, disappeared. Her family believes she was murdered.

No one has been arrested, but those dedicated to finding Miller held a balloon launch Monday to keep her case in the spotlight.

<snip>

"After five months people tend to forget and move on with their lives, and of course we haven't," said Paula Fielder, Miller's cousin. "We're still waiting and hoping every day that she comes home."
