yes there's nothing normal about the actions taken by the teens that night. i've been to so, so, SO many rural parties as a teenager that included guns, drinking, and drugs,, and i don't understand other commenters saying that the party seemed really normal. they flipped a vehicle, they took videos of a kid showering and losing consciousness, like wtf. that sort of stuff never occurred at any party i went to.

I've been to parties just like this, and I find absolutely nothing unusual about it. Haven't been to one where someone rolled an ATV, but I was at one where someone drunkenly drove a dirt bike into a lake. We didn't take videos of this stuff, simply because smart phones weren't a thing.

People fighting, people coming and going, if you asked 10 people what happened they'd all tell you completely different stories.

Can you provide a source for "they took videos of a kid showering and losing consciousness," please? I have only seen this is one of many rumors on social media. I think we need to be careful here when stating unsubstantiated rumors as facts. MOO

That's the thing with this case... There are SO MANY rumours around it, it's difficult to know what is fact. I did read posts from approximately 8-10 people who said they had seen the "shower video" but nobody could find it to share it for everyone else to confirm it exists.
I attempted to follow a cpl of the fbk groups about this case at the beginning and for about 6 months, and clearly 'anything goes' on there. I do think that any information that is remotely close to fact (that hasn't been published by MSM) was very quickly shot down (and shut down) by friends and family of those concerned.

We can agree to disagree. I think some people shut down rumors that were causing their loved ones to be stalked, harassed, and receive death threats. For those who have made up their minds that Noah's friends did something nefarious, no amount of logic matters. I hope the family gets real answers.

IMO, the social media has been a dumpster fire of people trying to find their fifteen minutes of fame (or worse) off other people's suffering.
It is amazing when communities like this one can come together and figure something out, help bring closure, use crowd power for good. The flip side on social media is horrifying.

Rumors being perpetuated does not equal "being documented," IMHO. Repeating something many times does not make it true. The moon landing being a hoax has also been widely "documented."

If you have evidence beyond hearsay, it would be very helpful to post that evidence directly. Repeated rumors are not really what Websleuths is about.

This case reminds me a great deal of Nathan Tyler Haun of Spanish Fork. I am local and it is such a sad story where the parents have never received an answer. Nathan was found dead in the middle of the road in 2013. It was suspected to be a hit-and-run. He had been at a party that night and the rumors swirled all around the town!!! One of the main rumors that bothered me the most is that parents of the teens at the party burned all of the teens phones that attended. Again - rumor - but I heard it from many people and it could possibly be true. Possibly, but not known for sure. It is now almost 12 years later and there are now answers.

PAYSON, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) – The death of a Spanish Fork teen is a mystery to investigators who discovered his body early Saturday morning.

Nathan Tyler Haun, 17, of Spanish Fork was spotted by a driver around 5:30 a.m. lying in the middle of Arrowhead Trail between Salem and Payson.


Haun was at a house party Friday night in Payson hours before he died. According to investigators, a group of teens who were at the party are staying quiet, possibly because there was underage drinking.
