Interesting similarities between Doe and Essie Hiett, age, heights, weight ranges, and most significant, Essie did not have any of her own teeth. She usually wore full dentures. The night she disappeared she appears to have crashed her car on her way home from a bar, having had 2 drinks. Her clothes were found at the scene minus her shirt, bra and pantyhose. However, despite the car crash, authorities believe foul play is involved, and according to the Charley project they have an unnamed person of interest. I cant find any side profile photos of Essie to compare noses and chin.

Essie has been ruled out and an exclusion will be added to Namus in the coming weeks, information from Oklahoma office of the chief medical examiner.

This Jane Doe looks a lot like Diane Cudmore. Diane went missing from Thorne, Ontario, Canada in 1972. They have the same face shape, crooked nose and long chin.

Did she have a birth defect causing a complete absence of any teeth?

Diane Cudmore's dentition is unknown. The first post on her thread mentioned that she may wear dentures.

"She was born without her teeth."

Wait aren't we all born with no teeth ? ;-) lol
Replying 14 years later LOL
We are born with teeth! They just haven't erupted.

And some babies are born with a tooth or two in the their mouths. But that tooth only lasts about a month or so. Often the poor newborn gets sent to the dentist, so it can be pulled because it can be a choking hazard. (Another one will erupt in it's place in about six months)

So, if someone has anodontia, it could theoretically be diagnosed at birth, although it usually isn't.

Those clay images are so sad...

I wonder if she truly was "edentulous since birth" or just lost her teeth?

It isn't unusal for those diagnosises to be wrong. We've had a few id's with mistakes....

This unidentified woman was found in 1981 in skeletal form. The estimate of her death occurring 2 to 5 years prior would give a rough date range of between 1976 and 1979.

Yes, the lady I posted had very little info and was older and in a different state, still, there can be errors and perps can travel with a body. I hope CarlK90245 can look into it.
