GUILTY OK - Patrick Misner for raping 4yo girl, Sapulpa, 2012

Hope they can find him soon. I'm worried that he might, possibly be able to read and now knows he is wanted for this crime.

I'm going to dinner Friday night with a good friend in LE...he won't tell me anything but I will make sure he knows about this

Cool. Hopefully this 🤬🤬🤬 will be in the Creek County jail by then:maddening:
I wonder if LE knows where he is, like holed up at a friends or family members place, and they're waiting for a safe opportunity to take him down?
He's not a master criminal, I can't imagine he's gone far.

Thanks, I need a good laugh!

Wow! So glad for the DNA and that an innocent man has his freedom again. Curious how the true perp made his decision to pick the 4 yr old. Who was he staying with there and how soon after this attack did he leave the area? I hope they didn't suspect him and not call in a tip.

  • #465
Yeah when I called, they told me they know he was there, but had since been released. Meaning, the last time he was seen was when he was released by Gresham PD.

I know OK LE knows where he was but does Portland know who they had in custody? It seems like they would put out some kind of an alert or something for people to be on the lookout for this guy. If he's in the area, wouldn't they want people looking for him?

The best I can figure, he was released from custody in Gresham before the DNA came back from CODIS. But then why isn't there anything on the local news website to be on the lookout for him?

OK, answered my own question:

"Investigators traced him to the Portland, Ore., area. They are working with law enforcement agencies all over the Northwest U.S. to apprehend Misner."

The thing that really gets me is that he probably thought it was all over when he got arrested in Portland, like it would only be a matter of time before they linked him to the crime in OK and extradited him. He must have been overjoyed when he got released. Makes me sick.

That is truly baffling to me, I can only hope that it's because they know where he is.

Yeah this guy probably couldn't belive his luck when they released him. I don't think he'll get far. Child rapists by definition don't make good decisions. I just hope he doesn't put anyone else in danger in a attempt to get money or transportation.

I was trying to sleuth him tonight, but didn't really come up with anything. I was trying to figure out what led him to OR. He must know somebody there. And was he released or did somebody bail him out?

I hope they are hot on his trail. He's got serial killer written all over him to me. :(

No, they don't know where he is. They are looking for him.

I think you're probably right. I was just speculating as to why they aren't asking for any help from the public in Portland. Does not make this mama happy to know this guy could be running around my city (or any city for that matter.)

I think he has hightailed it out of Oregon. I think he knew how lucky he was to get out before the other charges caught up with him, and he took off running the second he was set free. JMO

If he's smart (he's not), he'll try to skip town, like katydid23 said. My guess he's hiding at
a buddy's place, or a family members. I bet LE are tracking down everyone he's ever been arrested with, anyone who has bailed him out of jail in the past, and all his family members. This coward is probably crying in his mother's attic as we speak.
I hope he's terrified.

I knew it! I am so relieved! :woohoo:

I don't know if Tommy will get his life back... but I'm glad that he at least got his freedom.

If someone showed up tomorrow and arrested your husband for raping your 4 year old...
Then he was later cleared... would you get back together with him?

Hopefully Tommy can understand people deciding to support the children instead of him...
And hopefully people can truly realize he's innocent and not punish him further for crimes he didn't commit.

Hopefully the real suspect will get more time than others have in Oklahoma. :banghead:

So this creep was released in March, committed this horrific crime in April and then arrested in June in CPD and arrested in July in PDX (on unrelated charges) but was already released and hasn't been located? Great.

Patrick Edward Misner, 27

http://www.sapulpaheraldonline.com/articles/2012/07/11/news/doc4ffda830723b3170701717.txt
Creek County Sheriff’s deputies are now looking for Patrick Edward Misner, 27. The Oklahoma Department of Corrections reported Misner is a white male with brown hair, blue eyes and tattoos on both shoulders.

Creek County Sheriff’s Deputy Capt. John Davis said Misner’s information was loaded into the FBI’s National Crime Information Center’s database.

THANK GOD this guy was in CODIS. Otherwise LE would have nothing to go on.

Looks like he spent time in the Portland, OR area: http://pdxmugshots.com/mug/patrick-edward-misner

If you google "patrick edward misner", all 25 results are mugshots or inmate listings. This guy needs to go away for life.

I hope Tommy Braden can put his life back together.

More info about Misner, he has a record, of course.

Here's more info about his charges in Portland (sorry the sites not a little more "official"):

Real nice guy! They need to find him!! ETA: The thing is his PDX arrest shows current status as "in custody". Did someone say he was released?

When I called the Creek County Sherrif's Office tipline, they said they knew he had already been released in OR.

I don't even understand this question. What exactly would be a reason of not getting together with him considering he was falsely accused?

I wonder how he would feel if she believed the charges, would he want to? I know it's a bit off topic but I have wondered about how much damage this charge has done to that relationship.
