OK- Richard Glossip finally off of death row

I was extremely happy to see this, I've been following Richard's case ever since I watched "Killing Richard Glossip". If you don't know about this case I highly reccomend the aforementioned documentary. Everything the police had was circumstantial, Richard was convicted and sentenced to death based off the testimony of the person who actually committed the murder. The police and prosecutions theory is Richard hired Justin Sneed to murder their boss. I do feel bad for the victim and his family but I believe wholeheartedly that Richard is innocent and the murder was perpetrated by Justin Sneed alone. It makes no sense that a person would hire someone to murder their boss all so they could get $2000 each.

Right now Richard is in the Oklahoma County Detention Center waiting to see wether or not he's going to be retried. I'm hoping and praying there is no retrial. I can't lie, Richard did some things that looked bad on the day his boss was found, but that doesn't mean he's guilty. These would have been normal every day actions had Richard done these things the week before. Fixing a window and buying his then girlfriend an engagement ring for example. There is zero physical evidence to implicate this man. I also believe that Justin Sneed's "confession" was coerced. The idea that Richard had something to do with the murder was spoon fed to Justin Sneed by the detectives who interrogated him.

I could go on all day about this case and the things that are wrong with it. I'm just happy he's getting another chance after all these years.

Richard Glossip booked into Oklahoma County Detention Center

Richard Glossip, who spent decades on death row and came close to the execution chamber several times, has been moved to the Oklahoma County Detention Center.
