OSBI joins investigation into 'suspicious disappearance' of Chickasha boy

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has joined the investigation into the suspicious disappearance of a 12-year-old Chickasha boy who was reported missing on Jan. 2.

On January 7, 2026, the Chickasha Police Department requested the OSBI to investigate the suspicious disappearance of 12-year-old Ryan Davis Jr., who was reported missing on January 2. Davis was last seen at Fourth Street and Grand Avenue in Chickasha.

See, that's where my mind went, but I know legal language is super weird at times.

So, we're probably talking sexual abuse of a minor or animal, here. With the child being missing and unable to speak for himself, I'm wondering if they found CSAM on one of her devices.

Every person who is guilty of the detestable and abominable crime against nature, committed with mankind or with a beast, is punishable by imprisonment in the custody of the Department of Corrections not exceeding ten (10) years. Except for persons sentenced to life or life without parole, any person sentenced to imprisonment for two (2) years or more for a violation of this section shall be required to serve a term of post-imprisonment supervision pursuant to subparagraph f of paragraph 1 of subsection A of Section 991a of Title 22 of the Oklahoma Statutes under conditions determined by the Department of Corrections. I think he's probably dead, and that LE found forensic evidence he'd been injured but not necessarily killed.

I'd like it if he turned up alive, but something about this case just hit me from the start. I think they've killed him, because he got too big to control. He wouldn't be hard to dispose of; he's a very similar age, height and weight to Gannon, and Letecia killed and moved him all on her own.

This is what is frustrating and maddening for me and many. According to Kimberly’s very own Facebook post he went missing December 17th as well. What did authorities do after that time to ensure this child was safe.

According to KOCO, the parents pleaded for information about Davis earlier on Wednesday, while OSBI public information officer Hunter McKee called the disappearance “suspicious.”

This is the live update. OSBI learned there was parent to child abuse after conducting interviews with bio mom (Kim) and step dad (George) then charges were filed for child abuse complaints.

OSBI stated they do believe Ryan is still alive.

OSB and Police working collaboratively to locate the boy. Still searching, he has not been found. still following up on tips we continue to receive. We believe he is still alive at this time.

OSBI made contact with parents, bio mother and stepfatehr, during convos with them it was learned there was apparent harm done ot this child while he was living with these two parents. Based on search warrants conducted, we came to conclusion that both parents should be arrested on child abuse complaints, mutliple complaints. Those two parents were booked into cattle county jail last night.

It is important to locate child safely, but also we need to look into this case and what is happening in his home life that is causing him to be away from home.

As we looked into it and dug deeper it is important to us that when he is located and is returned he is returned to a home that is safe for him and we have determined his own home was not safe for him.

We are encouraging the public to reach out to us and let us know if you have seen him and where, we believe he is out there and we need your help to locate him safely as quickly as we possibly can.

This has been quite an effort, we are following up on additional tips as we speak. We need you all to know this child will NOT being going back to that home, he will NOT be returning to that unsafe environment, if anyone can bring him here I will meet with him myself and we will get him medically cleared and treated if need be. (they are speaking to anyone who may be assisting or hiding him IMO)

Property was searched along with others, but we cannot give specifics of what was found at the home at this time. The parents conspired together in these crimes. teh abuse was both physical and sexual.

was there a specific incident on Friday before he went missing? We have some information about that circumstance but we are still investigating and gathering information about the crimes, but we do believe harm was caused to him.

There were no other children in the home (in response to question about that)

They feel pretty confident he is still in the general area because he is on foot.

We will not stop until this child is found.
