OK OK - Ryan “RJ” Davis, Jr. (alias Ryker Cole), 12, Chickasha, Suspicious Disappearance, 2 Jan 2026

Do you know if DHS / CPS would have allowed him to stay with the only home being a fifth wheel?
Thanks, yes... now I remember why they were staying at the motel.
I'm having multiple brain fogs today .... 🙄
Good question !

Meanwhile, dozens of community volunteers have been canvassing the area, determined to find the missing boy.

"We’ve just been walking around, yelling 'RJ,'" said volunteer Challena Franks as she and others searched down country roads, around lakes and through fields Friday.

CADDO COUNTY -
As the search continues for 12-year-old RJ Davis, a woman who previously gave him refuge is speaking publicly for the first time, while hundreds of volunteers join law enforcement in combing rural areas of Caddo and Grady counties.

Tina Molina, Davis’ great-aunt, says RJ had repeatedly tried to escape an abusive home. She believes this time he did not turn to her because he was afraid of being sent back.

“He said he wants revenge on his mom, dad and his sister,” Molina said, recalling a conversation from Dec. 11, shortly after RJ ran away the first time from the Quality Inn in Chickasha, where his family was living at the time.

Obviously they do, because they did.

It’s another CPS fail.

I really pray they find RJ soon. My husband drives through Chickasha every day for work - we are about 40 minutes away. We are thinking about going tomorrow and see if we can help search. Local rumors are rampant and residents in Chickasha and neighboring towns are so angry - and so hopeful that he is still alive. My husband does not think he is but I think he might be.

Our team interviewed a relative of the boy today, about the abuse she witnessed and how he had escaped twice before and how she reported it, but, he kept being sent back.
-That full story will run tonight at 10 pm.

Accountability must happen in this case! Somebody failed in addition the parents!
In the AJ Freund case in Illinois, two DCFS employees involved in the case were later charged with child endangerment. One was found not guilty, the other got a six month sentence  .

IMO, the value came in the ripple effect the indictments had on DCSF case workers.

I hope they do the same thing if OKDHS failed Ryan.

Yes, provided it meets specific minimum health and safety standards. There is no statewide law that strictly prohibits living in an RV, but it is often scrutinized to ensure it is "appropriate housing".
  • Working Utilities: The home must have operable electricity, heat, and running water.
  • Sanitary Facilities: It must include a functional toilet, a sink with warm running water (not exceeding 120°F), and a shower or tub.
  • Sleeping Arrangements: Every child must have an appropriately sized, individual place to rest (such as a bed or cot) with clean bedding. Older children of different sexes usually require separate sleeping areas.
  • Safety Requirements: The premises must be free of hazards, illegal drugs, and accessible hazardous materials like cleaning products.
  • Sufficient Space: While "indoor space" requirements (like 35 square feet per child) are often cited for child care licensing, child welfare workers look for enough space to prevent severe overcrowding.

Many people have failed RJ ... I have no sympathy for those tears.

Yep. All I heard in that statement was “me, me, me, I, I, I”

Is this the first we've heard of a sister? I'm assuming she's of age because LE insisted no other children were in the home. But she's not charged, so perhaps she doesn't live with them?

MOO

After he ran away the second time they should have taken a deeper look at what was happening in his home and life. The waving red flags were there. Well now it might be too late for, Sorry but this time we won't just send you back.
