I agree with you itsreenw I think that sometimes a fresh pair of eyes can help to see something that maybe someone else has missed and I am not saying in any way that Matt was not thorough but I agree with you 100%.:twocents:

Email to Matt on 7/7/06-at the time, I thought the Peugeots were abducted from PA:

I forwarded the email to OK City school district staff. I received a reply from Matt stating that there was nothing valuable in the school records. I still want to satisfy my own curiosity.

Thanks mjak :) oh I won't be able to get in touch with these people until monday they are not open on the weekend so I was told by the woman who answered the phone. Go figure!

This photo was found amongst the photos that Floyd had http://www.filehigh.com/serve/3827/69296.jpg

Here is a picture of a missing girl from TX http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/mpch/mpdetails.asp?id='M10/9/20012:58:05PM'

What do you guys think?
Wow~! I have looked everywhere for a missing woman who matched the mystery woman! They really have the same eyes and the same nose it appears (though Floyd's photo is fussy and a little hard to make out the details). I think it is definately a possibility! Good find Mel! It is hard to tell if the mystery photo woman has a mole on her right cheek or not, but there is something there on the cheek.

Okay I contacted the investigation unit of the Dallas police dept and the investigator told me to call back on tuesday and speak with someone then because he was the only one there today with 12 cases sitting in front of him, so I will be calling them on tuesday he said that it sounds like it would be well worth looking at. :)

Okay I was in contact with a lady named Patty Subia she is the one handling the case of missing TX woman Terrie L Hefner she works with the TX missing persons clearing house I sent her the pictures to compare and she said that she will let me know if anything develops and she is familiar with the Franklin D Floyd
case, lets keep our fingers crossed. I will let you all know as soon as I know something, oh and I still have not heard from that woman at the human resources department at Avis I guess I will have to be a thorn in her side until she at least speaks with me or calls me back.

mel36, I can't wait to hear about your match. Good call!

Ok this thread has gotten so huge, can someone answer a question for me? Probably the same one that is going through everyone else's mind.

Did Sharon not give any information to anyone as to who she really is? as a child she didn't tell anyone who her real mom and dad were?

When did people realize that she had been kidnapped and was not Franks child to begin with?

Thanks!

Thanks Fox1950 I emailed the information to the lady working on Hefners case and she sent me an email back she is forwarding the information to the Texas Ranger that is handling the Terrie Hefner case, she to must have thought the match was similar enough. Now I know the picture of the unidentified girls face is a bit chubby but I think that could be a picture of Hefner when she was a bit younger the photo is a newspaper clipping I am just wondering if Terries parents put that photo in the paper when she went missing along with perhaps pictures of when she was a bit older, just theory. When woman are younger our jawbones tend to be shorter thus making our faces look smaller and also it gives the look of baby fat on the face as we get older our jaw bones tend to elongate so thats why I am thinking that is that is Terrie in that picture it was of her when she was younger.

To answer your question Nocgirl No sharon did not tell I am sure that she was so terrified of Floyd and we do not know how he obtained her or what it was that happend at the time she was taken, she wanted to live so she did what she had to, to survive she had no memory of her mother Floyd told her that her mother died and so it is thought among some of us here that she was obtained at a younger age but that Floyd did not actually have possesion of her till she was a couple of years older this whole case is so confusing at times and twisted to say the least. I think that when she got older that she started opening up to a friend that she was working with but she was so scared of Floyd that she refused to take it any further I feel so bad for her the torment that he must have put her through must have been horrific.

The FBI realized it in Sept. 1994 when they were investigating Floyd for Michael's kidnapping. While looking through photos, they realized that Floyd's "daughter" in the early pic was the same person as Floyd's "wife" in the later pics. But of course Sharon was deceased for 4 years by then.

ETA: Sharon did tell at least one person that Floyd was her "step-dad". But of course they had no way of knowing that he'd actually kidnapped her.

i think the pic is a great match too, ill keep my fingers and toes crossed!

Thank you for clearing some of this up for me.

Franklin Floyd is on death row for whose murder? Was he convicted of Sharon's murder?

He killed others apparantly correct?

He is on death row for the murder of Cheryl Commesso she was a dancer that worked with Sharon in Florida I believe. And yes I am sure that Floyd is responsible for several other peoples deaths whether it be children or women.
