Two found dead in ditch in Seminole, OK (Sunday Oklahoman)

A man and a woman were found dead Friday inside a vehicle in a ditch in Seminole, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation reported.

Summer Gokey, 30, and Joseph Bounds, 26, were both from the Seminole area, the OSBI said.

About 7:30 a.m., a person driving near the 2600 block of N Harvey Road saw a vehicle in the ditch and called police.

A Seminole police officer found the bodies inside the sports utility vehicle.

On Wednesday, March 25, the Medical Examiner's office determined that both victims died from a gunshot wound to the head. The manner of death was homicide for both Gokey and Bounds.

No arrests have been made in the case.
