I wonder how unique the name Darrell Sutterfield is? There is another individual by that name in the area. . .definitely not the same as the birth dates do not match. Perhaps a relation?

I found an Obit for a Eugene Sutterfield which lists Darrell Sutterfield as one of his 7 surviving sons.

There seem to be 2 generations of the Sutterfield family, with names being reused. eg Damon N Sutterfield DOB 1940(brother of Eugene) and then Damon M Sutterfield, (son of Eugene)

Unfortunatelly it looks like this Mr Sutterfield has some criminal charges, eg 2003 for domestic abuse with guilty plea and an older for child restraint
