I have a possible, not too sure about him though.

Miguel Flores Aragon

Right age
Right time of death
291 miles away (could be to dump him over the border if it was foul play).

Apart from the fact that I just don't have the right 'gut feeling' about this one and the reconstruction and photo have quite a lot of inconsistances, I can't find any other information that this guy is missing or any pictures of him with his teeth showing. I'm wondering if he has been found and CharleyProject have not updated their site?

Anyway, I've put it out there, perhaps someone else can take a look to approve/dismiss submission.

Interesting list of ruleouts (albeit a few years old now)that indicates LE are not limiting themselves to people of Hispanic background. I wonder there is uncertainty?

PM photo of his unique dentalwork is at Namus

The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
Namus lists pretty much all backgrounds: (White / Caucasian, Hispanic / Latino, Asian, American Indian / Alaska Native, Uncertain), so I think they have no idea really. I had AI look at the recreation and it comes back as
(Here are some visual features that might guide a rough geographic guess:
  • Skin tone and facial features: The pigmentation, prominent cheekbones, and mustache style might suggest he could be from parts of South Asia (e.g., India, Pakistan), the Middle East, or even parts of Latin America.
  • Hair style and texture: Straight, dark hair is common in many regions, including Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, South Asian, and Latin American populations.)
My guess was middle eastern or south asia. Also that style of dentistry was common from the 70s to 2000 in those areas.
