One of the parents posted a picture of the remains on Facebook.
The shoe was a black lace up ankle boot with twocolour (pink and purple/blue) soles. They looked quite unusual. And feminine. jmo

THE LATEST: Human Remains Found In Tulsa Creek

The proximity to the airport might make identification difficult as it means they could be from another state. Recently a man found in 1988 buried in a shallow grave near Chicago's O' Hare International Airport was identified as a man from Wisconsin who flew into O'Hare the day he was murdered.

I'm not sure if this will help much but here is a list of all the states connected by direct passenger flights to Tulsa International Airport.

  • Arizona
  • California
  • Colorado
  • Florida
  • Georgia
  • Illinois
  • Minnesota
  • Missouri
  • Nevada
  • North Carolina
  • Texas
  • Utah
If the victim did fly into Tulsa then the missing persons pool is much smaller than someone found at O'Hare as O'Hare is a much larger airport than Tulsa with many more destinations.

15 ruleouts in Namus. The list of names seem to indicate LE are looking at all MP races, not just hispanic, native or Asian.

Any removal of MPs at the same time that could be matches, @iulia?

Any removal of MPs at the same time that could be matches, @iulia?
Two male MPs who went missing before 2019 were removed this week, but they're not from nearby. Thomas Aird (MP57551), 50yo, missing since April 2001 from Northampton, MA and Allen Fletcher (MP24171), 30yo, missing since November 2013 from Langley, WA.

There were numerous other MPs removed in the past weeks countywide, it's not easy finding a potential match, especially when trying to match to an UID who was found in recent years. It's easier when looking for removed MPs from the 90s or earlier. :D
Only one MP from Oklahoma, but it was an 11 year old missing since 2008. Also, there were 15 unpublished profiles (or added and removed between my checks) from Oklahoma marked as resolved in the past month, one of them on Monday. No way to know if one of them could have been a match.
