There's currently an open Bench Warrant for a Vanessa Braym age 38, for failure to appear on drug charges (meth). It was issued a month after her family reported last seeing her. I would think she would have contacted her family if she intended to skip her hearing, just to let them know she was safe, so her being out of contact is worrisome.

Am I being dense or are we missing something here?

She left the note on Feb. 7.
On Feb. 11, her car was impounded during a traffic stop. Was Vanessa with the car when it was impounded? What about a traffic stop causes the car to become impounded. I've been pulled over for speeding on a handful of occasions and I've never had my car impounded.

The same info that said the car was impounded on a traffic stop on Feb. 11 said SHE was last seen on the 9th. So I'm guessing she was NOT the operator of the vehicle. As far as the impoundment, according to the Pawnee County Sheriff's office a vehicle can be impounded: during a traffic stop if it is deemed a hazard, if the driver is arrested, if it is considered evidence in a crime, or due to severe violations such as driving with a suspended license or having expired tags for over 90 days. https://www.pawneecountysheriff.com/uploads/docs/Oklahoma Vehicle impound 2022.pdf

Did family report her or is LE reporting her because she has a warrant?

From what I've seen, LE typically doesn't post someone as "missing" just due to a warrant unless they are a danger to themselves or the public, or other unique circumstances. If they did a warrant for every FTA the system would be overwhelmed.
