I am only interested in where it states that half of Cindy's check was being taken.

Based on the interview http://www.wftv.com/blank/18974289/detail.html page 25, there was a conversation between Shirley and Cindy regarding the IRS and finding out George cashed in his "savings" which possibly could have been his 401K from his previous employer.

Since George "allegedly" never told Cindy and obviously never reported on their taxes for that year, IRS more then likely sent a letter to the house regarding taxes owed.

IMO, within the IRS letter, it would have stated what needs to be paid, how it can be paid, and if not paid the IRS would garnish their payroll checks.

I'm way behind on this one and just curious - what relevance does the IRS matter have to Caylee being (at that time) missing? Interesting!

In the last doc dump, George states in his interview that he fell for an internet scam and wasn't involved in internet gambling (as was rumored at one time).

Hello Patty G ;)

SP: ...(inaudible) And she gets the big, you know, they keep half of her check or something, so she, she just tells me stuff a little bit at a time because she don't want to worry me. Now if...

I do not know if this is why we are saying that Cindy's checks were garnished? This is information from SP in her interview to LE. What I mean to say is I posted that interview a few posts back and I have the link for the interview, if that is what you need? But I am thinking you are speaking of a link to actual documents showing that Cindy's checks were being garnished. Is that public record? Probably not?

BTW: Do you think it is true that a person would have a history of mental illness(depression) before they would make it to George's age and THEN attempt suicide? I know when someone is successful at suicide friends and family usually say they had no idea the person was depressed, so maybe George fits right in...and then I guess you add in that there was a huge traumatic event of Caylee's death...so I wonder if a professional would think his attempt was: "normal" or "expected" if you are catching my drift?

...jmo...

Well, the thing about GA's suicide.. I don't think he meant it.

AEB instead of taking the gun to the hotel, he took pills.

And, IIRC, he ordered or brought in a pizza.

Plus the many rescue calls/texts he made.

25:SB: And then the smell upset you as well?...page 7949

1: GA: Oh yeah.

(skip a few lines then)

9: GA: That distinct odor, that's something that you never forget. That
distinct odor I...I...I believe something was placed in the back of that
trunk. I don't want to believe it was my granddaughter.

This is from the recent document dump PDF file name:48370069. This is from page 10 of 60 and the actual handwritten page no. is 7950. The typed page no. is 72 and the no. according to the pdf file is 10 of 60. WOW!

George knew and knows what was in the trunk and he just wants to believe something else...although he knows he is believing a lie.

  • #284
Same page (7950) 10 of 60 {72}

Line 19

GA: I want to believe it's not. I mean, I...I'm trying to believe it's not. But then again, like I said, and you guys know. Once you smell that smell, you just, you never get over it...

He knew from the get go...

You know,I'm not sure GA is going into this depo with the same attitude he had at the ZFG depo.He thought the ZFG thing was a joke and he was pi$$ed.
He knows this is far more serious and that tthey already have his sworn statements on record. If anything ,I think he's probably very sad that he has to help put his daughter away.Or worse. What a horrible position for a parent.
If they had worked with LE from the beginning [GA did to an extent] I think KC would have gone for a plea deal. JMO

Hello WS :)

Along with others I am interested in information re: George's depo. I did see the BC interview thanks to WSers posting it on WS. Thanks.

I have played with the idea that my intuition tells me that some people do not feel things as deeply as others. I think I think that is true.

I feel I have experienced being with people that should be more upset about what is going on...but I find that some people enjoy the drama more than they are distraught at the event.

Oh, they are distraught but more excited at the energy, attention, excitement: as they may see it. They love to "act" very distraught with huge gestures of emotion, tell everyone how upset they are, these are people who, to me...seem to thrive on the tragedy.

They are just not advanced souls. They are very inward focused, and so even when their granddaughter is murdered they do not see it from Her point of view: everything is from their point of view only. Truly. I do not think they are capable of putting themselves in someone else's shoes.

"The mark of true intelligence is being able to hold two opposing ideas in your mind at one time and still retain the ability to function" -F. Scott Fitzgerald

Another WSer has this quote on their posts: sorry I do not remember who but you all probably know and will see that it is them, of course. And, I think I remembered the quote almost right, good enough to get my drift. It does not mean you agree with both points of view: we always have our personal feelings but as WSers I am sure many here pride themselves at being able to look at both and all sides of things, people, events, ideas, beliefs, etc.

That is why sometimes I think it feels like "strangers" cared more for Caylee than her family, and care more about what happened to her because we see this whole thing from her point of view. Maybe her family is too close to want or be able to do this? Maybe it is protection because it would be too horrible? Sure.

But, I still think there are some people who do not feel things as deeply(about others, they feel deeply about themselves). But, they really do not even feel deeply about themselves, because of the way they can change with the wind as they do...

This is what I think of when I see George. When I saw the video of him today outside the depo..."there are good days and bad days..." la, la, la...(see everything I wrote above) and I add in and agree with posters who brought up GA's line: "We are part of an elite group" as being telling also.

Plus: I know you have all brought this up before, but I am just understanding that while Casey was out on bond, the Anthony home was awakened by a visit by LE? A gun was found in the tire well of GA's car.

I will go look for the thread but if someone gets it quicker that's always nice. :blowkiss:

Do we know how LE knew the gun was there?

I really dont know about George but I would like to just mention that in the jail visits, Cindy and Casey are talking over a phone. George cant hear what Casey is saying, only what Cindy is saying. I think that is why he looks uninterested.

Also, I am sure Casey would have no problems carrying a dead Caylee. I am sure she was able to carry her while she was sleeping. I have a 5 yr old daughter who only weighs 40 pounds, Caylee weighed nowhere near that. I dont think its an issue. I have been to the site where they found Caylee. All she had to do was pull up in her car, walk a few feet and let her drop.

snipped and bolded by me -

The gun iirc was reported to LE by Lee. Lee became aware of the gun somehow and was concerned about GA.

Your post in total is very thought provoking. There are people I know who stay so busy they never take time to ponder anything let alone their own feelings, actions, reactions. They stay so busy imo because they don't want to feel.

When I watched GA heading into his depo, I couldn't put words to how he made me feel; your "la, la, la, ..." hit the nail on the head. There is no better way to capture the essence of his comments. Very unsettling to me.

GA is a cordial guy though.

Yeah, that's what Rick said-- a Nigerian Net scam.

He also said, IIRC, that the family started the Net gambling rumor, because they thought it sounded better than GA fell for the Nigerian thing.

GA is doing the best he can under the worst of scenarios. I feel sorry for him. No one should have to be in his shoes. GA has known for a long time that KC killed Caylee and it is my belief that he openly denied even the possibility of this being true for CA.

"It was the pizza, right George?" He said "yes" to CA, but never tried to pass off the pizza story to cops. He knew, he just couldn't say it to cops in any other than a roundabout way. He tried, but the words wouldn't come out of his mouth.

To me, the best he could do would be to stand up and be counted on the side of Caylee, the little girl who was robbed of her life and never got a chance to even live. I would stand on the side of my grandchild if my child murdered them. I am sure I would continue to love my child, but I would honor my sweet little baby, my sunshine, with at the minimum, the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help me God. George's loyalty is in the wrong place and it is the cause of his entire struggle. I know a "George" and his type allow the most unspeakable things to go by unnoticed and unnoted, so long as the boat does not rock. They destroy as many lives with their innaction and inability to cope with anything properly as do the outright evildoers. I can find no honor in George and I have searched.

Yup, magic-cat, George Anthony is going to stand up and be counted on the side of his wallet.

So which is it George?

George said, "The last time I saw her was June 16, one year ago today. I woke up with her in the morning at 7:30, got a chance to have breakfast with her. Just before 1:00 that day, I didn't ever realize that that'd be the last time I would see her, have a chance to kiss her, hold her. I would hear her call me Jo-Jo, and put her in a car and wave good-bye to her."

What Cindy said 8/4/08 to Det. Edwards on page 27! According to her-you left in the MORNING!!

Sadly I never took his attempt seriously. When you want to kill yourself you do. He seemed like the classic "cry for help" and from what we've learned about GA, he needs all he can get. There is something really really unusual about that entire episode.

I don't know if anyone answered you or not but many people make it to George's age before ever attempting suicide, many mentally ill people never attempt suicide. I don't know if George is mentally ill or not but what he went through is enough to send anyone into a tail spin, ya know?

I take every cry for help seriously and think everyone should.

Ahh, Lee again informing LE of information they would otherwise not have about his family.

I think more eyes should be on LEE, JMO!
