Oliver Stone arrested on drug, DUI charges in Beverly Hills
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) Director Oliver Stone has been arrested for investigation of drug possession and driving while intoxicated.
He was pulled over at a police checkpoint in Beverly Hills, California, last night after police say he showed signs of alcohol intoxication.
Police say they also found drugs in his car, but wouldn't say what kind.
In 1999, the filmmaker pleaded guilty to drug possession and no contest to driving under the influence. He was ordered into a rehabilitation program.
