In addition to whatever toxic soup of mental and emotional issues Travis may have going on, I suppose it's also possible that there are some twisted ideological aberrations at play, as well----such as 'the world is a mess and I am going save my children from it'.

With this, I could imagine guilt being less of a factor for him, therefore seemingly upping the probability he remains alive and running. I have a harder time, though, picturing TD living the life of a captured and imprisoned individual. I am going to hope that he does not force the hand of an officer.

IMO, and just based on the charge document and the statement by Whitney’s lawyer yesterday, Travis has low self esteem and self loathing. In a way, he thought he was saving his daughters from the mess that he was becoming. IMO I don’t think he did this to get back at Whitney. I also think that Travis is dead. We shall see as more evidence is released.

Several hours a day of pastoral counseling seems... unusual. I wonder if this was a friend who was providing phone support on a more informal basis?

He didn’t just kill his children. He tortured them. He watched them struggle to breathe. He watched the terror envelope them.

More than a hundred Officers, Agents, and Deputies Search and Investigate

More than 500 tips from the public, along with in depth investigating by detectives continue to narrow the focus of the joint operation seeking Mr. Decker.

Dozens more law enforcement professionals, both tactical and administrative, have converged on Chelan County and joined the investigation and the search for Travis Decker. Despite the many challenges faced and the complex on-going murder investigation, morale and effort remains extremely high within staff at the Command Post.

The investigation and operations continue as new surveillance video, photos, and tips from the public are continuously surfacing which aids in decision making. Out of an abundance of caution, we have been given notice to, and are working in conjunction with our surrounding counties in the event Mr. Decker moves through the forest into their jurisdiction. Additionally, the more agencies we can get involved, and the more the public remains vigilant, the better opportunity for success in the capture of Mr. Decker.

I don't understand why he would leave food behind, unless he planned on not needing to eat. I get why he would leave the truck, his i.d., his phone and anything else that could potentially identify him but why not take food?

That is the one thing that bothers me and makes me think he never intended on going off grid or escaping to Canada.

Going off grid means leaving everything behind.
Never contacting friends or associates, never going anywhere you have ever been before, not pursuing previous interests and getting rid of all electronics/devices including your car, changing appearance and style.

These searches were conducted on May 26, shortly before Decker allegedly kidnapped and murdered his three children, Olivia, 5, Evelyn, 8, and Paityn, 9.

Then he should have moved to Canada, and left his LIVING children behind.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say he didn’t do it, someone else did this, killed him and dumped his body somewhere to make it seem like he did it. I want to know whose bloody handprints were on the truck. Was it his blood?
