One Killer or More?

what if there on this site watching the show

IMO... I am absolutely confident they are. I am sure this guy loves the attention. He loves he hasn't been caught. He's confident. This is just my own opinion but I don't doubt for a second that he's interested in the attention he is getting.

Why kill a prostitute with a child with her? Where does this MO fit into the others. If he is angry with prostitutes, then he should have felt sorry for the innocent child, the innocence of the child is how you would think they would perceive the child, a victim too. Why would he not skip killing her once he noticed she brought a child? There are plenty of working girls without a child present to choose from.

Maybe he was angry that she had bought the child.
Maybe he saw the child as a product of a prostitute and seeing as he has something so awful against them he might have felt the same way towards the child.
Maybe she wasn't a prostitute.

I do not understand how a baby goes missing without any one noticing a mother and baby are gone. The news of a baby and mother found should have raised some flags. I wish they would feature them again and again on a National and Worldwide platform. The top 10 most wanted could feature LISK, they have bank and drug dealers, but not LISK. If they feature this child and mother, someone who has missed this news may catch on to it.

A lot of people know about JD and her baby but what do we know about them? Nothing. We don't know what they look like with a composite sketch or anything.
And people go missing a lot of the time without people noticing. Damn. It takes years for some children's remains to be identified. More information needs to be known.

It is my opinion that instead of working ourselves INTO the case by identifying a potential killer, we need to work OUT of the case. I believe the information we can be told about the Jane and John's and Baby Doe will lead us to the killer.

The Jane Doe and child may be undocumented. If they air this worldwide, (many on west coast have never heard of LISK, Burke certainly did not sensationalize a case that desperately needed to be) worldwide, a person here or abroad who may have been so busy they never caught the information could have a aha! realization. Have they collected DNA from the baby and entered it into the database and continue to do so? Also send it to other countries with the forensic ability and computerized database.

I have no idea. But this is being followed worldwide. It's the lack and quality of the information provided that is the problem.

I have read posts elsewhere of people living in the states that have not read or heard of this case on the west coast. The show of FBIs most wanted helped capture very old cases (the cult leader was caught). You are right that they have released no evidence to the public. A great question that may lead to ahas is what makes so many profiler's think he has a very nice car, is wealthy, and successful. Some evidence would have to point to this theory.

I think the SCPD has more evidence and or leads than they know what to do with. Sifting through all of it is a big job and takes up a lot of resources. Which they may not have or be willing to spend on the case if they do have the resources. Some information can be held back from the public for various reasons. I'm not even sure if the case is considered active by LE, be it SCPD or other agencies.

The killer(s) can fit a variety of profiles. I can go with someone age 40-55, male of course, good looking, affable with the gift of gab, possibly a sales person (insurance, real estate, or public service). Maybe single or married with a long leash and a job that has irregular hours, possibly involving travel and general unaccountability. Nice car of course that doesn't attract attention that a shabby car might.

It would seem they no longer have much to lose by giving out more information. If Seattle could afford such a vast and complicated task force, I know New York can find the funds.

I think it seems more like they are not interested in finding LISK instead of not having the funds/means to do so.
LE in Daytona (from the episode of The Killing Season) are right. Without the information going out to the general public people will not know who to look for. LE don't solve cases without the general public.

I have no idea what is being kept away from the public in the LISK case. The cops keep certain information as a "control" which is something only known to the killer.

The Green River case was a tough one to nail down. The police had him as early as 1980 for questioning and his home was searched in 1988. He was finally arrested and charged in 2001 and it was DNA and paint samples (from where he worked) found on victims. That case went cold and was resurrected, old DNA samples were tested with new technology. It came down to one detective who stuck with the case until the end. The case was initially documented on index cards alone, no computers.

The SCPD has the resources if they want to expend them. The FBI is still part of the investigation if what I've read is true. This is pretty much a case that is getting cold unless the killer(s) get active again.

BBM.

I understand keeping control but things like not even explaining a description of JD and her baby is so unhelpful. These people will never get their names back like that.

I find this article very interesting: http://people.com/crime/long-island-serial-killer-gilgo-beach-fbi-profilers-experts/?sf40641419=1

One point mentioned, because they go back and forth as to whether there is one serial killer or two, is that there's one killer that has changed hi MO over the years because he didn't feel safe anymore. Then why keep the same dump site I say?

If you change your MO because you don't feel safe you most likely change your dumping ground too. I believe there are definitely two different killers that just happen to be dumping at the same place. The one from Mannorville either got arrested already for something else or has died. But the GB4 killer is still on the loose and has already mapped out a new area. He just doesn't want to get caught. So, he's waiting things out a bit.

The FBI and police may have even interviewed him and this may have slowed him down as well knowing that their eyes are on him.

Some of the best clues would be old Craig's List records of the conversations I believe.

Just because he changed his MO does not mean he changed it because he didn't feel safe. Could have just gotten lazy with the bodies. i.e. not dismembering.

The bodies were kept intact (if Manorville and GB4 are the same killer) at GB4 possibly because the killed changed his MO. Most of them evolve and make less mistakes. If the killer stops now, he may never be caught.

If he keeps on, outside factors out of his control could get him caught. Someone takes down a plate number, a parking ticket like in the Son Of Sam case, a wife runs across something in his car. A wife may turn a blind eye to evidence in order to keep her meal ticket going. Wives protect what keeps them fed and clothed.

I think the GB4 site was close to being full. Look at aerial photos of the exact site, maybe enough room for 1 or 2 more. I've walked the area and it makes sense.

Unless he starts dumping on the other side of the parkway. The south side.
