Oprah, Stedman Aboard Jet That Collides With Bird

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- Oprah Winfrey's private jet was forced to return to the Santa Barbara airport following a mid-air collision with a bird.
Neither the talk show diva nor her boyfriend, Stedman Graham, was injured in the incident that occurred shortly after takeoff Monday afternoon.
The impact cracked the jet's windshield. The GulfStream jet will be grounded until the windshield is repaired.
John Ahlman of the Santa Barbara Fire Department said it's not unusual for planes to collide with birds.
