What a little sweetheart. I hope her Mom is her guiding angel because this little one is going to need help and support moving through this tragedy. She lost her family, and witnessed all the gory details. Poor baby.

Nearly an hour after the initial call, deputies report that shots had been fired inside the home. Inside the house, a deputy warns other responding deputies.

"Nobody needs to come into this house that's not essential to be inside this house. They don't need to see what's going on inside here," he told dispatch.

The story of the woman who escaped and comments by sisters of Shaina. She has older children, 15 and 11, who were adopted by their aunt because Shaina was too young to care for them.

Although no motive has been disclosed, family members for the 8-year-old said Gago had reportedly turned violent in recent weeks. Gago and Sweitzer had been planning to move from his parents’ home into their own place, according to social media posts. Sorry, but IMO that poor little girl should not have been allowed to do this interview. She is not old enough to “reach out.” Her grandmother said she wanted to either talk about it or write about it, both of which could have been done privately with the aid of a counselor. I question the ethics of the reporter interviewing her and the common sense of her family allowing it. A written statement by this little girl would have sufficed.

I’m not sure how much I can say. MG had just landed a new job that he was excited about, he got a professional haircut, work clothing, and even a new car. Him and his girlfriend were planning on moving out of his parents house. Literally the day before the murder, he was in good spirits at everything seemingly “falling into place.”
