I've not been able to find any updates. Hopefully others with better sleuthing skills can.

Who reported their disappearance? Why are they at risk? Wsleuthers usually find the most obscure reasons, criminal records for him and reasons why she lost the guardianship of a previous child. What kind of relationship are they in?

They seem to be looking for someone missing for who knows why. Without saying enough. Where are their families, we are talking bout a newborn here.

I posted her linkedin back in post #5. The content within that, to me, answers a lot of these questions. On FB she mentions that she lived with foster parents, on linkedin that her birth parents were drug and alcohol addicts and she was born with fetal alcohol syndrome. DHS may be responsible for her care in some way, as she is considered to have an intellectual disability (with an IQ of 65) due to being born with FAS. The last sentence in her linkedin says to me, what we might be looking at here:

"but for the loss of my son that I can't see touch or hear waghn [weighing on?] in my heart so this is why I want to live with out the state I'm not allowed to make dissions [decisions] about my money or the things I want to do it all goes through a worker of the state so please help me to be cowindependent [become independent] with out the state and maby have a baby again we're [where the] state can't take it because I'm able to have my own money and take care of my self thank you"

She is a vulnerable adult, afraid of losing her child to the state (as has happened in the past), because of the state's position on her inability to take care of the child/ren. MOO.

I gathered DHS was the one looking for April and her baby, possibly being the one who reported them missing. Is it possible DHS was already involved for whatever reason and needed to do a wellness check of some sort once the baby was born?

Whatever the circumstances are, this woman and her very young child are still missing and considered to possibly be in danger. Hope they are found soon. If they are ok, I hope the mom makes contact with LE or DHS soon.

Thank you for the updates, I wasn't able to find any earlier today. This makes me so sad, but I'm glad they're apparently okay.

Just learning of this case. Such a difficult situation for all involved. Grateful for safety of mom and baby being confirmed.

April, I feel your sadness in your words. I am hurting for you and cannot imagine your pain. Please take care of yourself and contact someone close by you if you need a safe place to rest and heal, both your body and your heart. I hope that your journey to a job and your own income is not over and that things start to align for you very soon.
