I was thinking about that too. She may just have loved the peace sign but it seems so out of the ordinary in the late 1990's.

According to the place she was found she is possibly from one of the surrounding tribes.

I'd say early/mid 90s is a more likely time of death for her, though the exclusions include Karen Harmon, a woman last seen in 1982.I was thinking about that too. It's possible she just was into that type of fashion because of the 90s grunge so entrenched in the area by then. And thrift store shopping and "shabby chic" had been popularized by Kurt Cobain by that time.

Disappeared with younger friend, never seen again. They used to disappear for many days at a time routinely. The younger friend had mentioned wanting to run away to CA. There was an informant in this case that never produced the bodies and LE does not know if the informant is telling the truth. At least one of the girls had problems with drugs. For April: Biracial (Caucasian/Native American) female. Brown hair, brown eyes. Geyer has a peace symbol tattooed on her left middle finger and a tattoo of a winged heart on her left shoulder. Geyer typically wears her hair either pinned back or tied at the nape of her neck.

Is it possible this UID was from the 60's-80's? Given the jeans, the belt with the peace sign buckle, and the postmortem interval? Plus this town is pretty close to Highway 20 where John Ackroyd killed his victims. Is it possible he is the killer of this Doe?
Possible, but Afrohispanics have a similar genetic makeup. Like most Brazilians, Afromexicans, Afro Puerto Ricans etc.
